A former assistant of Diddy has revealed the alleged six specific items that the rapper required for a ‘freak off.’
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is currently on trial in Manhattan after being arrested in September last year on charges including sex trafficking and racketeering.
The 55-year-old music mogul is accused of exploiting his celebrity status to create a sex crime ring involving drug-fueled sex parties through the use of force, threats and violence, all of which he denies.
The trial kicked off earlier this month with a heartbreaking testimony form his former long-term girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, who alleged physical violence at the hands of Combs and some bombshell insight into what went down in his so-called ‘freak off’ sex parties.

Cassie claimed the ‘freak offs’ involved her having sex with a male escort and that Combs would take drugs such as ketamine and MDMA.
Now, a former assistant to the disgraced father-of-seven, George Kaplan, has come to the stand as the 12th witness for the prosecution – and has some jaw-dropping insight of his own.
Kaplan reportedly invoked his Fifth Amendment right to not testify on the grounds of self incrimination, but judge Arun Subramanian granted him an immunity order that required him to take to the stand, reports CNN.
From the stand, the assistant said he traveled across the US with Combs, including New York, Miami, Atlanta, DC and Orlando, where his job involved setting up the rapper’s schedule for the day, like briefing the chef and housekeeping.
He would either travel by private jet with Combs or take his own flight to make sure the hotel room was ‘set up properly’ in anticipation of the ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ hitmaker’s arrival.

Kaplan also revealed how he first came to assist in preparing a hotel room for a ‘freak off.’
He said the first time he was initially given a bag to unpack with regular items, like clothes and a speaker, as well as candles, liquor, baby oil and lubricant.
Some of these items, like Johnson’s baby oil and bottles of lube, were recovered from Combs’ hotel room on the night of his arrest.
Cassie also similarly testified the specific way Combs would want a ‘freak off’ room to be set up, which reportedly included scented candles mixed with oil.
After the first time he unpacked the bag, Kaplan said he was often instructed to purchase the same set of supplies with his corporate credit card from either Combs himself or his boss, Kristina Korram, Combs’ former chief of staff.
The court heard how Kaplan joined Combs Enterprises in 2013 and promoted into the role 10 months later.
He says he worked between 80 to 100 hours per week, earning around $125,000, and would talk to Combs multiple times a day about anything he needed, like ‘clothing or potentially food from somewhere or drugs or liquor or an iPad or a speaker’.
In one part of his testimony, he also hinted at a heated moment with Combs.
He said the Bad Boy Records founder flew into a rage and came ‘close to my face’ after he had purchased two half-gallon bottles of BPA-free water from Whole Foods instead of a one-gallon bottle as per Combs’ supposed request.

James also testified as a witness for the prosecution (John Lamparski/Getty Images)
The testimony also comes as another ex-assistant, David James, who worked with the musician for two years, also said he would stock Combs’ hotel rooms with clothes, iPads, snacks (like applesauce, Jell-O and Fiji water), a cosmetics bag and a medicine bag reportedly filled with ’35 to 40′ different types of medications.
James listed Advil, Tylenol, water pills (to lose weight), and Viagra as some of the tablets in the bag.
He further claimed that Diddy’s security would carry a Louis Vuitton bag filled with around $10,000 in cash.
In the raid on his hotel room, law enforcement also uncovered drugs, Clonazepam medication, a Louis Vuitton bag and a fanny pack with $9,000 stuffed inside.
The trial continues.

Newly released photos from Diddy’s hotel room on the night of his arrest reveal disturbing insight to ‘freak offs’.
The high-profile trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs officially kicked off on Monday (May 12) after the rapper was arrested from a hotel in New York last September.
The 55-year-old stands accused of racketeering and sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, amongst other charges, all of which he denies.
Last week, we heard the heartbreaking testimony of his former girlfriend, Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura, who made a slew of allegations against Combs whom she dated for more than a decade.

Cassie alleged Combs forced her to participate in so-called ‘freak-off’ sex parties, which involved her having sex with a male escort while he watched on, as well as several instances of physical violence.
She also spoke about Combs’ alleged drug use, including a supposed overdose at the Playboy Mansion in 2012, and stated his ‘drug of choice’ were ecstasy or MDMA and that she witnessed him consume opiates daily.
Now, photographs of Combs’ hotel room on the night of his arrest have been released to the public which suggest he had been preparing for a drug-fueled ‘freak off,’ prosecutors claim.

The images taken by law enforcement from his room in the Park Hyatt Hotel in Midtown Manhattan were also shown to jurors.
Among the items photographed include bottles of baby oil, suspected drugs and mood lighting, reports Daily Mail.
There were also pill bottles containing clonazepam, which is used for anxiety and seizures, two small bags of pink powder, one of which tested positive for ketamine and the other a mixture of MDMA and ketamine, and wads of around $9,000 in cash.

The shocking images come as Cassie testified Combs had a particular way he would set up a ‘freak off’ room, which reportedly included scented candles mixed with ‘oil and all of the other scents’.
She further claimed Combs would ask her to heat up the baby oil.
Attorneys for the father-of-seven said the ‘freak offs’ were consensual and denied any wrongdoing.

A special agent who raided Combs’ hotel room, Yasmin Binda, who works for Homeland Security Investigations’ human trafficking division, testified that the cops unearthed damning evidence from the room, from the baby oil to bags of Astroglide lubricant in a closet.
Binda said: “This is one zip lock bag filled with Johnson’s baby oil and you see another zip lock bag filled with Astroglide that was in the hallway closet.”
Combs had been in the state for 11 days before his arrest which prosecutors say he was ‘potentially’ waiting for, and preparing for a final ‘freak off’ beforehand.

Jurors also saw CCTV footage of Combs attacking Cassie inside a Los Angeles hotel back in 2016, which the 38-year-old claimed came after she had attempted to ‘flee’ a freak-off.
Photographs of Cassie’s alleged injuries which include bruises to her face and lip were also shown to the jury.
The trial continues.

Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura has revealed the shocking texts Diddy sent her after she ran away from a so-called ‘freak off’ party in a hotel.
The high-profile trial of Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, commenced on Monday (May 12) after the rapper was arrested last year on suspicion of sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion, and racketeering among other criminal charges, all of which he denies.
This week, his former long-term partner, Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura, took to the stand to give her testimony about what allegedly went down at these so-called ‘freak-off’ sex parties, during which she claimed she was made to have sex with male escorts.
The now 38-year-old musician, who had dated Combs from 2007 until 2018, alleged that she also suffered physical violence at the hands of her ex-boyfriend.

Jurors sitting in on the New York trial have been shown a CCTV video which appeared to show Combs attacking Ventura inside a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ventura revealed from the witness stand earlier this week that she had ‘fled’ from a freak-off that had allegedly turned violent.
Talking about the incident from court on Wednesday (May 14), Ventura said she was sent a series of texts from Combs in which he repeatedly demanded that she call him.
Now, during her cross-examining, Ventura stated she believed Combs was ‘black-out’ at the Inter Continental, referring to him being ‘intoxicated.’
Her message to him read: “When you get f****ed up the wrong way-” to which Combs’ attorney Estevao clarified, ‘You meant drugs?’
“And alcohol,” Ventura said. Another alleged message suggested that Combs was asking her for sex soon after the incident, to which the dancer supposedly wrote back: “We need a different vibe than Friday at the Inter Continental.”

Combs then allegedly text: “F*** Friday, I don’t even want to do that again,” to which Ventura wrote back: “LOL, true.”
The footage in question was leaked to the public, after which Ventura’s legal team hit out against Combs’ claim that it was edited.
Ventura’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, told The Daily Mail: “It’s not surprising Diddy would make a disingenuous argument to exclude the disturbing video from being shown to the jury in the upcoming trial.
“I am confident that the video fairly and accurately represents what happened, will be admitted into evidence, and that Combs will be held accountable for his depravity.”
After the footage was made public, Combs took to Instagram to apologize to Cassie.
He wrote: “My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.
“I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now,” he added. “I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”
UNILAD has previously contacted Combs’ representatives for comment.

Cassie has detailed what happened inside Diddy’s so-called ‘freak off’ parties and the alleged nickname she was made to call him.
Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, was arrested in New York last September and has been charged with racketeering and sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion – all of which he has repeatedly denied.
The 55-year-old has been detained inside Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre ever since, in anticipation of the high-profile trial that kicked off on Monday (May 12).
Cassandra Ventura, known more commonly as Cassie, dated the rapper for over a decade, on-and-off between 2007 and 2018, and took to the stand on Tuesday (May 13), telling the court her version of events.
The now 38-year-old musician was just 19 when she met then 37-year-old Combs, and went on to testify that she suffered alleged physical abuse at the hands of her ex-boyfriend.

On the stand, Ventura claimed she and Combs got in arguments that would ‘result in violence’, adding that he would ‘stomp [her] in the head if I was down’.
When asked how often Combs allegedly abused her, she responded: “Too frequently.”
In another part of her testimony, Ventura claimed she was made to call Combs ‘Pop Pop,’ the nickname she had used for her grandfather, which she said she thought was ‘weird’.
“I did it but now I think it was disrespectful,” Ventura added.
The age gap between the couple was 17 years, with Ventura saying that she was ‘in love with him’ and it was her ‘first real adult relationship’.
As for the alleged ‘freak-offs,’ the musician claimed they were ‘sexual encounter[s] called voyeurism’ where Combs would watch her have sex with another man.

“I remember my stomach falling to my butt,” she explained to the court. “Just the nervousness and confusion… I had just turned 22.”
She told how she didn’t want to be involved, but ultimately did so because she ‘loved’ Combs and ‘wanted to make him happy’, adding: “The freak offs became a job. There was no time to do anything else but do them then try to recover. The longest was four days, significant periods of time.”
In one horrifying ordeal, she alleged Combs had directed an escort to ‘urinate in her mouth’ which made her feel like she was ‘choking’.
She also told the court that Combs would take away her things to ‘punish’ her, like her car, home, jewellery, laptop and phone.

Jurors also watched a CCTV video that had been made public and went viral last year which appeared to show Combs attacking her while inside a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.
In 2024, Combs addressed the video, saying that his behavior in the video was ‘inexcusable’ and he was ‘f**ked up’.
The Honey 3 actress’ testimony comes after she filed a civil suit against Combs in 2023 where she accused him of rape and physical abuse, though the matter was settled out of court shortly after.
The trial continues.

Diddy’s ex partner, Cassie Ventura, detailed her relationship with the hip-hop star and what happened during alleged freak-offs in the second day of his trial.
Diddy – whose real name is Sean Combs – was arrested and charged with racketeering and sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion last year after being detained at the Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan, New York.
The rapper has denied all allegations made against him.
After the opening remarks by both prosecution and defence were delivered on Monday (May 12), his former girlfriend, Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura, took to the stand on Tuesday (May 13) to detail how Combs allegedly would ‘punish’ her during their relationship, which lasted on-and-off from 2007 to 2018.
Her testimony is expected to continue today (May 14), with Combs’ defence lawyers to cross examine her.
Here’s what she said during Tuesday’s court session…

Combs and Ventura met in 2005 when he was 37 and she was 19. Combs signed her to his Bad Boy Records label and they started dating a few years later.
Ventura told the court that Combs would take away her things to ‘punish’ her, claiming that he would ‘would take the car away, the house, jewelry’, as well as her laptop and phone.
She further claimed that his staff or security would be the one to take them ‘if she wasn’t there’.
Ventura continued to allege that he would take things away ‘depending on how he felt’, adding: “It depended on how long I was being punished for.”
When asked if there was anything else he’d take beside her car and apartment, she replied: “My self-confidence.”
A CCTV video that had been made public and went viral last year was shown to jurors, which appeared to show Combs attacking her inside a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

Explaining the alleged ‘freak-offs’, Ventura said they were ‘sexual encounter[s] called voyeurism’ where Combs would watch her have sex with another man.
Ventura recalled what happened when she was first introduced to these so-called ‘freak-off’ parties.
“I remember my stomach falling to my butt,” she said. “Just the nervousness and confusion… I had just turned 22.”
Ventura claims it involved hiring an escort and Combs would watch her with another man while directing them, as per the BBC.
She told how she didn’t want to be involved, but ultimately did so because she ‘loved him [Combs] very much’ and ‘wanted to make him happy’.
Ventura added: “The freak offs became a job. There was no time to do anything else but do them then try to recover. The longest was four days, significant periods of time.”
Ventura went on to tell the jury how she was scared to say no to the rapper and that physical violence was often on her mind.
She was also worried of ‘making him angry’ and told the court how Combs allegedly blackmailed her with video of the ‘freak-offs’ to get her to do more.
One horrific act alleged was when Ventura ‘felt like she was choking’ after Combs ‘made an escort urinate into her mouth’.

On the stand, Ventura claimed she and Combs got in arguments that would ‘result in violence, dragging’, adding that he would ‘stomp [her] in the head if I was down’.
When asked how often Combs became violent with her, she responded: “Too frequently.”
She alleged Combs would ‘bash on my head, knock me over, drag me, kick me’.
What Combs’ attorney has said
In response to the news of Combs’ arrest, his attorney Marc Agnifilo told UNILAD at the time: “We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
“Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community. He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal.
“To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
The trial is expected to last around eight weeks. If convicted, Combs faces up to life in prison.
UNILAD has contacted representatives for Combs and Ventura for comment.
The trial continues.
