A TikTok star has filed a lawsuit after her three-year-old son tragically drowned.
Emilie Kiser, a social media influencer who build a following of more than four million fans about her parenting and family life, tragically lost her toddler following a sudden accident.
The three-year-old, Trigg, fell victim to a drowning incident in a pool in the family’s Arizona home on May 12, roughly 25 miles from Phoenix.
While paramedics performed life-saving CPR on the toddler and rushed him to Chandler Regional Hospital, from which he was taken by air to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, he tragically died six days later on May 18.

Now, the family have filed a lawsuit as of May 27 against Maricopa County public offices in a bid to keep records of her son’s death private.
The lawsuit details the mom’s requests to prevent the release of any further details of her son’s death, calling it a ‘profound invasion of privacy’.
“Emilie and her family desperately want to grieve in private, but sadly, the public will not let them. Trigg’s death has become a media frenzy,” the suit states.
“Disclosure of graphic or intimate death-related records causes renewed trauma to surviving family members and violates their right to grieve privately.”

Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner is also reportedly on board with keeping the records private, confirming to NBC News that it had ‘worked with the family to place a seal on the record’ once staff became aware ‘the family was pursuing a court order to prevent the release of these records’.
Kiser’s lawyers have also posted a public statement, describing the death as ‘heartbreaking’ and ‘accidental’ while the 26-year-old mom is enduring ‘a parent’s worst nightmare right now’.
The statement as per Rolling Stone continues: “Emilie is trying her best to be there for her surviving son, two-month-old Theodore. But every day is a battle.”

Kiser and her husband Brady Chapman welcomed the baby, nicknamed Teddy, in March.
Chandler Police also issued a statement about the tragedy, stating: “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the child’s family and loved ones during this unimaginable time.
“The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remains ongoing. This is still an open investigation.
“Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed,” as per NBC10 Philadelphia.

TikToker Mr. Prada, who boasts millions followers on the social media platform, has been arrested.
The content creator – whose real name is Terryon Ishmael Thomas – was apprehended in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday (October 1).
His arrest came shortly after police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, issued a warrant after after he was reportedly seen driving a stolen vehicle.
As the arrest warrant was issued in Baton Rouge, Thomas is expected to be extradited back to the state located over 400 miles away.
Jail records show that the 20-year-old TikToker has been charged with aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
It’s believed that the vehicle Thomas was driving belonged to therapist William Nicholas Abraham, whose body was discovered by police on Sunday (September 29) wrapped in a tarp in Baton Rouge and dumped on the side of the highway.

While Thomas has not been charged in relation to the death of Abraham, police named a person of interest on Tuesday that appeared to be the social media star.
Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post shared earlier this week: “The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) is asking the public to help identify a person of interest in the homicide investigation of a Baton Rouge man.
“Detectives believe the individual seen in these store surveillance pictures is the last person known to have been driving 69-year-old William Nicholas Abraham’s vehicle. The vehicle was located by Baton Rouge Police Monday afternoon. The driver of the vehicle, at the time, sped away from a traffic stop and ultimately ran away after crashing the car.”
After the photos were released, social media users were quick to speculate if the person pictured was Thomas (AKA Mr Prada).
The investigation in Abraham’s death is ongoing.
Tangipahoa Sheriff Gerald Sticker told local news outlets his killing was a ‘very physical, very violent death’ and that the man died from blunt force trauma to the head, neck and shoulders.
Tangipahoa Sheriff Gerald Sticker added, as per the MailOnline: “He was bludgeoned about in the head, shoulders and neck. There was a lot of bruising.”
It remains unclear if Thomas has any connection to Abraham, The Washington Post reports. Investigators are still working to determine where the murder occurred.
Police found no evidence of a crime having occurred in the Abraham’s home after conducting a search at the property, says Fox 8.
UNILAD have approached Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office for comment.

A California courtroom burst into cheers as a TikTok star who was found guilty of killing his estranged wife and her friend was sentenced to decades in prison.
Ali Abulaban, 32, became known on TikTok under the handle ‘JinnKid’ thanks to the impersonations he did of famous characters, like Scarface.
He had gained almost one million followers on the platform before he was found guilty earlier this year of murder, after his estranged wife, Ana Abulaban, 28, and her friend, Rayburn Cardenas Barron, 29, were killed in October 2021.
Though Ana and Abulaban were already estranged, the TikToker installed a listening device on their five-year-old daughter’s iPad and heard the voice of another man in their San Diego home.
Ana and Barron were in the apartment when Abulaban burst in and shot Barron three times. He then turned the gun on his wife.
During the trial, Abulaban confessed while on the stand and claimed he ‘just snapped’.
“My gun was in my hand and next thing I’m shooting,” he said.

Abulaban was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder, and was sentenced this month by San Diego Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Fraser.
During the sentencing hearing, family members of the victims were able to give impact statements before the judge gave his decision.
Ana’s sister told Abulaban: “You promised my mom that you would take good care of them like my parents did for Ana Marie and Amira back in the Philippines.
“But I had no idea that my sister’s life would be miserable living with you. You treated my sister like she didn’t matter, but she mattered.”
Barron’s sister, Lizbeth, added that his family are having ‘difficulty living a normal and healthy life’ in the wake of their loss.

The judge described Abulaban as a ‘talented actor’ (CBS 8 San Diego)
During his own statement, Abulaban apologized for the pain caused to the families but claimed the killings were the result of a ‘a drug-induced psychosis’.
Judge Fraser said he had ‘serious reservations’ that Abulaban was remorseful for his actions, and described him as a ‘very selfish person’.
He handed him two consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole plus, another 50 years behind bars for gun enhancement charges.
Fraser said: “The bottom line here is, he will die in prison, he will never be a free man. He will take his last breath there.”
As the judge delivered the sentencing, the courtroom erupted into cheers and applause from the relieved family members and other onlookers.
Meanwhile, Abulaban mocked the crowd by joining in with the applause, as well as mouthing an expletive.

There’s a ‘number one mistake’ men are making in marriages which are causing them to break down according to a divorce lawyer.
If you’ve been through your fair share of break-ups, make-ups and are now trying to embark on a period of singlehood, figure out exactly what you want or how to go into another relationship without f**king it up, then listen in.
A divorce lawyer called Sara J. Corcoran from Corcoran Family Law in New Jersey uses the firm’s TikTok page to share advice – although, the page notes it’s ‘not legal advice’, which is slightly confusing. One video reveals the ‘number one mistake’ that men specifically are making in marriages.
In a post shared in July, she explains: “The number one mistake men make in marriage from a divorce lawyer.
“A spouse who never participates in household chores often breeds resentment in the other spouse.
“There’s not going to then be one incident which results in some extreme fight that ends the marriage, it’s a slow burn.
“So my advice to you guys out there if you want to stay married is empty the dishwasher every once in a while.”
And it’s not taken long for people to weigh in.

One TikTok user said: “A lot of guys turn their wife into their mother then are shocked when she wants a divorce.”
“I love when my husband does chores without me saying anything,” another added.
However, it didn’t take long for some angry men to hop on into the discussion.
A user said: “That’s not a mistake. that’s a woman who wants you to do everything.”
“Number one mistake we make is getting married biggest mistake we make of our lives why would any man want to do that,” a second wrote.
Well, if you really needed the point emphasized, then look no further then Katy Perry‘s comments about fiancé Orlando Bloom about what happens when he gets his act together and washes the dishes every now and again.
During an appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, the ‘Firework’ singer revealed an x-rated insight into her relationship with Bloom.
She said: “If I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, and you’ve done it all, and you’ve done all the dishes, and you’ve closed all the pantry doors, you better be ready to get your d**k sucked.”
Well, there you have it, at least you can now weigh up the pros and cons of living in the same house as a partner, eh?
