Donald Trump has previously warned Iran of further escalation as the situation between the country and Israel begins to spiral, and now, the American embassy has been hit.
Israel’s surprise bombardment of Iran’s nuclear and military facilities last week (June 13) has resulted in the nation firing back at the country.
This has meant both Israel and Iran have been trading strikes, ultimately increasing tensions and fears of instability in the region.
Donald Trump has expressed full support of Israel’s actions and warned Iran to avoid further loss of life and agree to a deal.
The President has been calling on the country to sign a nuclear deal with the group of world powers known as the P5+1 – which includes the US, UK, Germany, France, China, and Russia, who’ve all been in negotiation with Iran in regards to its nuclear program since 2006.

Writing on Truth Social, Trump said: “I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to ‘just do it,’ but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done.”
Iran recently conducted more strikes on Israel in the early hours of Monday (June 16), and this resulted in damage to the US embassy in the country.
The US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, said the embassy had suffered ‘minor damage’ amid the barrage of missiles on Monday.
Writing on Twitter, he said: “Some minor damage from concussions of Iranian missile hits near Embassy Branch… but no injuries to US personnel.”
He added that the embassy would remain closed on Monday and instructed the Americans that are in Israel to check the website for updates, including the reopening of airports and overall travel advice.
The US aircraft carrier USS Nimitz is now reportedly heading towards the Middle East as Trump warned of further destruction if the issue between the two nations is not swiftly resolved.
Explaining that the US was not explicitly involved in Israel’s initial attack, Trump clarified they would not take kindly to retaliation by Iran.

In a social media post he wrote: “The U.S. had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight,” said Trump. “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before.
“However, we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!!!”
The details regarding how devastation the strikes has not yet been fully realized.
On June 14, Iran’s UN ambassador said 78 people had been killed and more than 320 wounded. In Israel, at least 10 people were killed in Iranian strikes overnight and into Sunday.
Figures for casualties in both countries are expected to rise as more information becomes available about the latest strikes.

Caitlyn Jenner has spoken out from a bomb shelter in Israel as missile strikes from Iran rain down.
The former Olympics gold medalist says she’s become trapped in the country after Israel initiated a strike against Iran on Thursday (June 12.)
Jenner, a transgender woman, travelled to Israel to attend the Pride Month parade in Tel Aviv scheduled for Friday when the chaos erupted and Iran launched retaliatory attacks on the city.
Organizers swiftly cancelled the event for safety concerns, and Jenner ended up stuck when all flights from the airport were grounded.
She confirmed on social media that she was taking extra precautions to be safe by taking sanctuary in a bomb shelter.

“We are back in the shelters in Tel Aviv. This looks like it is the third wave of attack from Iran,” Jenner wrote.
The 75-year-old and parent-of-six was also reportedly drinking wine and texting her many family members while the missiles rained down near her Tel Aviv hotel on Friday night, according to the Daily Mail.
“Please pray,” she wrote in a message. “I’m holding up okay.”
When asked if the bombs were loud, she simply wrote back: “Yes.”

‘My heart is here, with the beautiful people, in @Israel’, she wrote (Twitter/@Caitlyn_Jenner)
Jenner shared a selfie alongside influencer Regev Gur while clutching a glass of red wine from inside the shelter.
Gur captioned the image: “What were you doing with the alarms? Because I’m drinking wine with Caitlyn.”
Prior to becoming ‘trapped,’ the reality TV star had posted dozens of photographs of her trip to Israel in some of the region’s iconic areas, including Kibbutz Be’eri, the Nova Festival site, and the Western Wall in the Old City of Jerusalem.
She wrote in the caption: “Yesterday in Jerusalem. My heart is with Israel now and forever. Evil shall not prevail!” alongside Israeli and US flag emojis.
Jenner had also expressed support for the country amid its ongoing conflict with Palestine ahead of her visit, writing: “I am excited to share that I will be in Israel this week. I’m visiting the resilient people of Israel as the nation continues to recover and restore its place in the Middle East. Stay tuned!”
However, her dream trip was cut short as she posted another image of missiles flying through the night air over the city skyline.
“‘Quiet’ night in Tel Aviv. Pray for us all,” she captioned the snap. “We will prevail. I am happy to stand with Israel today, now more than ever.”

Member’s of Jenner’s family reportedly told the news outlet how excited she was to be visiting and attending the LGBTQ+ parade.
“She was very excited to be there for the parade,” the unnamed family member told the Daily Mail. “This was a bucket list item. It was supposed to be a great time.”
Several buildings were destroyed in the strike and dozens more injured in Israel as missiles broke through the country’s Dome air defense system.
Shocking footage from the city shows rockets intercepted along the Tel Aviv skyline while air raid shelters rang out in the streets.
Jenner has reportedly been in contact with the American Embassy who has advised her to stay sheltered in a windowless area close to her hotel.

Vladimir Putin issued a terrifying warning to Europe in the event of a nuclear war.
Earlier this week, the head of NATO stroked fears World War Three may be in the works as Secretary-General Mark Rutte bluntly urged members to hike defense costs or ‘get your Russian language course out’.
The former Dutch prime minister is encouraging the the treaty to meet a Donald Trump-inspired pledge of five percent of GDP on defense amid Russia’s ongoing aggression towards Ukraine, particularly addressing European nations while stating the US ‘has carried too much of the burden for too long’.
“Putin’s war machine is speeding up, not slowing down,” Rutte said at the meeting in London.
“Wishful thinking will not keep us safe,” he continued. “We cannot dream away the danger. Hope is not a strategy. So NATO has to become a stronger, fairer and more lethal alliance.”

However, it’s not just the NATO boss who is urging Europe to step up as Putin himself clearly has little faith in the continent when it comes to defending itself from a nuclear threat.
Speaking at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum last year, the Russian president issued a terrifying warning as Sergei Karaganov, a Russian political scientist, urged his homeland to climb ‘the ladder of nuclear escalation’.
Putin admitted that the world is ‘already scared’ of the threat of a nuclear war, but some countries should be more afraid than others.
“If God forbid, it comes to strikes, everyone should realise that Russia has an early warning system for missile attacks. The US has it. Europe does not,” he said.
“They are more or less defenceless in this sense.”

He continued: “If those with whom we exchange such strikes [cease to] exist, whether the Americans will get involved in this exchange at the level of strategic weapons I doubt very much.
“The Europeans should think about it. But I assume that it will never come to that.
“We don’t have that need. Our armed forces so vastly outnumber them in conventional weapons that there is no need. I would ask you not to mention such things in vain.”
The comments have come to light as the former head of the British Armed Forces during the war in Afghanistan, Colonel Richard Kemp, said Putin could become increasingly angry if NATO allies ‘got more heavily involved in the defense of Ukraine’.

Speaking to LADbible, Colonel Kemp said such a move from NATO ‘could prompt Russia to strike back against one or more NATO countries, maybe by missile attacks or something like that’.
“He’s probably not going to be driving tanks into Western Europe, but he has people all around Europe who are ready to carry out sabotage attacks against our countries, and things like cyber attacks, which happen fairly frequently and that could be intensified,” he clarified.
Still, a 2022 study found a week-long war between the US, its allies and Russia could wipe out 360 million people – while five out of eight billion would die from starvation across the world.
So here’s to hoping Putin isn’t it such a rush to push the big red button after all…

Donald Trump revealed his plan to ramp up ICE deportations across the country and commended the work that had already been done in a new post online.
Protests have erupted around the US about the conduct of theImmigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) over the last few weeks, but Donald Trump has recently praised their actions.
In a new post on social media, the president made it clear he had plans to ramp up their actions issuing a warning to three cities.
He argued that those opposed to their behavior were ‘radical democrat politicians’ and insisted that he was focused on conducting ‘single largest mass deportation program in history’.

The post addressed the backlash ICE has received recently and read: “Our Nation’s ICE Officers have shown incredible strength, determination, and courage as they facilitate a very important mission, the largest Mass Deportation Operation of Illegal Aliens in History. Every day, the Brave Men and Women of ICE are subjected to violence, harassment, and even threats from Radical Democrat Politicians, but nothing will stop us from executing our mission, and fulfilling our Mandate to the American People. ICE Officers are herewith ordered, by notice of this TRUTH, to do all in their power to achieve the very important goal of delivering the single largest Mass Deportation Program in History.”
Speaking about how the program would intensify, he issued a warning to Los Angeles, New York and Chicago.
He also took shots at his critics and made a series of claims about their overall objections and intentions.
He said: “In order to achieve this, we must expand efforts to detain and deport Illegal Aliens in America’s largest Cities, such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where Millions upon Millions of Illegal Aliens reside.

“These, and other such Cities, are the core of the Democrat Power Center, where they use Illegal Aliens to expand their Voter Base, cheat in Elections, and grow the Welfare State, robbing good paying Jobs and Benefits from Hardworking American Citizens. These Radical Left Democrats are sick of mind, hate our Country, and actually want to destroy our Inner Cities — And they are doing a good job of it! There is something wrong with them.
“That is why they believe in Open Borders, Transgender for Everybody, and Men playing in Women’s Sports — And that is why I want ICE, Border Patrol, and our Great and Patriotic Law Enforcement Officers, to FOCUS on our crime ridden and deadly Inner Cities, and those places where Sanctuary Cities play such a big role. You don’t hear about Sanctuary Cities in our Heartland!”
The president closed by saying he and his administration were putting ‘every resource possible’ behind this effort.
He closed by saying that ICE, the FBI, DEA, ATF and a slew of other governmental departments have his full support and must now get the job done.

Donald Trump appeared a little flustered when asked about actors who reportedly chose to boycott his attendance following a decision he made for the Kennedy Center theatre.
Donald Trump’s attendance of Les Misérables at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington DC, last night (11 June) was likely more controversial than he would have liked.
The president attracted both his supporters and critics at the event, and was asked by reporters whether he was aware of or cared about potential boycotts.
Ahead of the show, it was rumored that cast members planned to walk off the stage in protest of his attendance. Four drag performers even showed up at the venue to show their visibility following Trump’s pledge to stop drag shows at that theatre.
Writing on social media in February, Trump said: “NO MORE DRAG SHOWS, OR OTHER ANTI-AMERICAN PROPAGANDA.”

At a recent dinner for the Kennedy Center Board, he added: “The programming was out of control with rampant political propaganda, [diversity, equity and inclusion] and inappropriate shows.”
However, when asked about it ahead of going into the showing on Wednesday, Trump boasted about his alleged accomplishments and how he handled the situation in Los Angeles.
He said: “I couldn’t care less, honestly, I couldn’t. All I do is run the country well.
“The economic numbers, you saw them today, they are setting records, we took 88 billion dollars in tariffs in two months, far beyond what anyone expected.
“There is no inflation, people are happy, people are wealthy, the country is getting back to strength again, that is what I care about. And we are going to have a safe country, we are not going to have what would have happened in Los Angeles.

People on social media remarked Trump might be masking his frustration (Fox 5)
“Remember, if I wasn’t there, if I didn’t act quickly on that, Los Angeles would be burning to the ground right now.”
These comments came before the president was both ‘cheered and booed’ at the Kennedy Center, according to Reuters White House Correspondent Jeff Mason.
On social media, many people remarked at how Trump’s reply was rather odd with some alleging he was masking his frustration.
Another said: “When you have to tell people you ‘run the country well’ …you’re not running the country well.”
Another said: “Once he gets hold of the actors’ names who plan on boycotting, he’ll mention them non-stop in his 3 am posts for weeks. Let’s see … the insults will include ‘overrated’, ‘fake’, ‘not good looking’, ‘mediocre’, ‘untalented’.”
And a third added: “Trump’s indifference is just another sign he’s losing grip — on politics, on reality.”
With another writing: “When he finds out who boycotts he’ll attack them on social media.”
