All love stories have to start somewhere, and for Justin and Hailey Bieber, that ‘somewhere’ was backstage at the Today show in 2009.
It was more than 15 years ago when the pair first locked eyes, and back then Hailey was little more than a fan who was meeting the young, up-and-coming Canadian artist as he released his first album to the world.
Justin had appeared on the Today show to help promote the release of ‘My World’, and Hailey attended the recording with her dad, actor Stephen Baldwin.

According to People, Baldwin was friends with Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, and helped orchestrate the meeting between Hailey and Justin. Little did he know at the time, he was witnessing the first meeting of a future husband and wife.
In the clip, which has been shared on YouTube, Justin can be seen shaking hands with Baldwin and giving his iconic mop of hair a quick swoosh.
Baldwin introduces his daughter, Hailey, who reaches out to shake Justin’s hand while keeping her other arm firmly positioned across her body, presumably in a classic teenage effort to appear completely unbothered.
“We’ve been enjoying your music,” Baldwin tells Justin, who replies to say that they’d already briefly met at an airport on a previous occasion.
As Justin walks away, Baldwin stands with Hailey and says ‘we’ll see you again’.
Exactly how much, Baldwin had no idea.

Now one marriage and one child later, Justin and Hailey are much more than strangers and fans can’t get over the adorable sight of their first meeting.
“Met his future wife AND mother of his first child. Love this for them,” one viewer commented.
Another wrote: “She looked so shy. That’s not an easy age for any of us. Very sweet that they ended up getting married.”
A third added: “The way she looks at him in the first shot, so cute like this will be your future husband and father of your child one day.”
After their first meeting, it wasn’t until 2011 that the future couple were spotted together again, this time at the premiere of Justin’s Never Say Never documentary in New York City, which Hailey once again attended with her dad.
Over the years the pair were spotted at church together and spoke about being ‘good friends’, but in 2015 they were seen kissing at a New Year’s Eve party. The couple later split up for a period of time, but they got back together in 2018 and went on to get married.
In August 2024, the pair announced the birth of their first child, Jack Blues Bieber.

Fans of Justin and Hailey Bieber have been left shocked after the ‘Baby singer’ unfollowed his wife on Instagram.
Just last year, the celebrity power couple welcomed their first child together, a son they named Jack Blues.
“They’re both overjoyed,” a source told PEOPLE Magazine at the time. “The baby is such a miracle. He’s adorable and doing well. Hailey’s doing well, too.
“The pregnancy was something that they very much wished and prayed for.”

Prior to finding each other, Justin had famously dated Selena Gomez, while Hailey was said to have been involved with Shawn Mendes, another Canadian singer.
But the Biebers officially exchanged vows in 2018, which came after several years of an on-off romance between the pair.
Justin and Hailey wedded at an official ceremony in New York, which was followed by a religious service at the Somerset Chapel at the Montage Palmetto Bluff, North Carolina.
So, today’s development that Justin no longer follows his wife on Instagram has left much of the internet in shock.
“But why Justin Bieber has unfollowed Hailey Bieber on Instagram??” one person asked, while a second added: “Wow didn’t see this one coming.”

Meanwhile, a third offered their own theory, saying: “It’s most likely his social media manager running some awful marketing strategy.”
And a fourth remarked: “Why do celebrity couples these days start having issues after having a kid?”
Just recently, Bieber addressed the growing speculation he had split from his wife of six years.
The singer posted a photo to his Instagram Stories of his wife as they enjoyed a vacation in the snowy destination of Aspen.
“The greatest woman I have and will ever know,” Bieber added as a caption to the post as many came to the conclusion the pair’s bond was still strong.

The reaction from fans comes just a matter of days after many followers convinced themselves Justin is set to make an imminent return to the entertainment industry in the coming months.
Justin excited many of his fans after sharing a cryptic Instagram post last week alluding to a return to music by uploading a clip of himself listening to a seemingly unreleased track.
While it wasn’t confirmed for definite, the hint certainly suggests the ‘What Do You Mean’ hitmaker is making a return.

Justin and Hailey Bieber have welcomed their first child together.
Taking to Instagram, the singer posted a picture of the newborn’s feet with the caption: “Welcome home, Jack Blues Bieber.”
The couple first announced that they were expecting a child together in May 2024 on Instagram.
They shared several photos showcasing Hailey’s bump. According to People magazine, the model was just over six months pregnant at the time.
The couple had an on-again, off-again relationship, but ultimately rekindled their romance and got married in September 2018.
They first tied the knot in a New York City courthouse and proceeded to have a larger ceremony with their friends and family two months later.
The singer previously addressed wanting to have children, explaining that he and Hailey were just waiting for the right time.
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres in 2020, Justin said: “I’m going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out. I’d love to have myself a little tribe, but it’s her body and whatever she wants to do.”

Meanwhile, Hailey has also spoken about wanting to have children, preferring to do it out of the spotlight but understanding that it was ‘probably totally unavoidable.’
“That was before I was married,” she told GQ. “Didn’t know who I was going to be married to at the time, I’m sure.
“Maybe I liked the idea at 18 of not raising kids around certain things, but my life is so different now than it was when I was 18.
“It’s so hard to say what I’m going to do or not do when there isn’t even a child here yet. I don’t even know what it feels like to be a parent other than a dog parent yet. And that’s not the same thing, by any means.”

Hailey Bieber has responded to pictures husband Justin Bieber uploaded to Instagram of himself crying.
Fans of the ‘Baby’ singer flooded to social media in concern after he uploaded two images of himself in tears over the weekend.
Bieber shared several photographs in one Instagram post on Saturday (27 April).
The first three images show the singer up on stage performing, singing and dancing – with his performing being something that he put on hold after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome – which is caused by the same virus as chickenpox (VSZ) – in 2022.
The fourth and fifth show the back of the singer also while he’s on stage, with Bieber wearing a top which reads ‘8 drew’ and the sixth shows a close-up shot of what appears to be some marijuana.
However, it’s the seventh and eighth which have sparked concern among Bieber’s fans, showing the musician in a jumper and green hat but with tears in his eyes and some then rolling down his face.

Many Beliebers took to the comments in concern and model and Rhode beauty brand owner Hailey – also Justin’s wife – responded too.
In the comments of her husband’s post, she wrote: “A pretty crier.”
And it’s not taken long for people to flood to the comment to chime in in support for the couple.

One Instagram user said: “It’s not our business why you are sad.
“However, just know as fans we are also supportive of anything you need. I know you sing you feel so lonely but know you do not have to. Any of us would hide you out in our homes, feed ya, let you rest, and keep you safe just because we know and have felt some type of way many times.
“May God be your guiding light.”
“We love you Justin, your fans, we will always be there for you, you will always be N1, I know that one day you will come back. My favorite star, don’t be sad, my heart is sad,” another added.
A third commented: “I hope you’re OK Justin. If not please get help.”
UNILAD has contacted Justin Bieber’s representatives for comment.

Justin and Hailey Bieber have announced they’re expecting a baby.
The couple took to Instagram to announce the exciting news.
They shared a bunch of photographs showing off Hailey’s bump, with Justin being present in some of them.
Justin and Hailey got married in September 2018 after years of on-and-off dating, having tied the knot at a courthouse in lower Manhattan.
The pair went on to host a second, much more lavish wedding around a year later, as they booked out the Montage Palmetto Bluff hotel in South Carolina.
Justin and Hailey have lived a relatively quiet life since they tied the knot, leading to constant speculation at both ends of the spectrum.
Rumors that have emerged in recent months, include talk the pair have split up or expecting a baby.
Well, it’s certainly the latter thanks to an announcement from the couple themselves.
Justin has previously addressed having children, explaining that they’d love to start a family but were simply waiting for the right time.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres in 2020, Justin said: “I’m going to have as many as Hailey is wishing to push out.
“I’d love to have myself a little tribe, but it’s her body and whatever she wants to do.”
The ‘Baby’ singer was asked when they think that time might come, which led to Justin saying: “There’s not really an issue, but I think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman.
“And I think she just is not ready yet, and I think that’s OK.”
Hailey has also spoken about wanting to have children, and doing so out of the spotlight.

She did accept though that the attention is ‘probably totally unavoidable’.
With today’s announcement, the couple didn’t announce when their due date is, but fans will be eager to learn more.
