As Taylor Swift continues her biggest tour yet with Eras, Courtney Love has dubbed her as ‘not important’ or ‘interesting’.

Last year, Swift was propelled into billionaire status – with only a lottery winner who recently became richer than her overnight.

Not to mention her new relationship with beau, Travis Kelce, and her appearances at the Super Bowl drinking a few breskis catching the world’s attention, Swift hardly leaves the headlines these days.

But not everyone is a fan, it seems.

In an interview with The Evening Standard on Friday (April 12) to promote her upcoming BBC Sounds series, named Courtney Love’s Women, she revealed what she thought of the ‘Shake It Off’ singer.

Speaking her thoughts on various female artists in the music industry, she told the outlet: “Taylor is not important. She might be a safe space for girls, and she’s probably the Madonna of now, but she’s not interesting as an artist.”

It’s certainly a change of direction for the ‘Dolls Part’ vocalist, who has previously praised Swift.

The artist paid homage to Swift in a December 2021 post as she wished the singer a belated ‘happy birthday’.

To mark that, Love also reposted a snap the pair took at the Grammys five years earlier, labelling the ‘Red’ singer as an ‘aspirational huge role model for many young women’ and ‘occasional hair twin/neighbor’.

Swift wasn’t the only singer to called out by Love in the interview, however, as she also had some words to say about Lana Del Rey.

“I haven’t liked Lana since she covered a John Denver song, and I think she should really take seven years off,” she said.

“Up until Take Me Home Country Roads, I thought she was great. When I was recording my new album, I had to stop listening to her as she was influencing me too much.”

Like her or loathe her, there’s no denying the impact Swift has made, with her fans even causing an earthquake-like activity during Eras tour date.

According to Pop Crave on X, it reported: “Fans at Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ show at the SoFi Stadium on August 5th caused earthquake-like activity, a Caltech & UCLA study finds. The strongest tremor was equivalent to a magnitude-2 earthquake.”

According to the official reports, researchers found that each Swift song had a distinctive tremor signal.

While 43 of 45 songs played generated activity, tracks certainly varied in magnitude.

The classic that is ‘Shake It Off’ came in at at the largest local magnitude of 0.851, with Gabrielle Tepp of Caltech explaining: “Keep in mind this energy was released over a few minutes compared to a second for an earthquake of that size.

“Based on the maximum strength of shaking, the strongest tremor was equivalent to a magnitude -2 earthquake.”

And who knows, perhaps her songs will be used to measure earthquakes?

Swifties are convinced the singer is superstitious after she arrived at Travis Kelce’s football game on Sunday (January 26).

Swift certainly made a fashion statement as she watched the proceedings, covered head-to-toe Louis Vuitton in an outfit totalling $10,200 according to the Daily Mail.

While the outfit was certainly dazzling, it’s a mini black pleated skirt that has garnered the attention of many fans online, with them pointing out it’s awfully similar to the skirt Swift wore to last year’s AFC Championship game.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: “Is she wearing the same pleated skirt as last year??? Superstitious queen.”

A second added: “I feel like Taylor is superstitious like us and will wear her hair curly and similar if not same outfit from when they won last time,” while a third remarked: “Wait is this the same skirt from last arc champs??? Oh she’s def superstitious.”

Superstition or not, it certainly seemed to work as Kelce will play in the Super Bowl once more this year.

Kelce’s mother has previously how the relationship just seems to work.

Donna told Page Six that she finds her son’s relationship with Swift ‘kind of interesting’.

She added: “He’s a good guy. He really is. He’s good. He’s kind. He’s generous. And from what I understand, so is she.

“I hope they’re having a good time.”

The brothers faced off last year at the Super Bowl, which led to mom Donna being understandably split on that day in February 2023.

Things may be a bit easier this year as Jason has since retired from NFL after spending all 13 years of his professional career with the Eagles.

Speaking of her son’s careers, Donna told Page Six “It’s just been taking off. I just can’t believe what’s happened over the last couple years.”

Donna went on to say it was a ‘whirlwind’ to see both of her sons playing in the Super Bowl.

In fact, everything changed when ‘both teams got good enough to play each other in the Super Bowl’, she said.

As for Kelce and Swift’s relationship, Donna explained how the relationship just seems to work.

Donna told Page Six that she finds her son’s relationship with Swift ‘kind of interesting’.

Taylor Swift has spoken out on the foiled terrorist attacks that led to the cancellation of her Eras Tour concerts in Vienna.

On August 7, two men were arrested by Austrian authorities for allegedly planning a series of attacks across major events in Austria, including Swift’s concerts.

According to authorities, one of the suspects arrested was a 19-year-old Austrian citizen who had allegedly pledged his allegiance to terror group ISIS.

Director-general for public safety in the Ministry of the Interior Franz Ruf and Police Chief Gerhard Purstl, said at the time that both men were allegedly radicalized through the internet and had detailed how they planned to carry out an attack.

Shortly after the arrests were made, event organizers announced that the Swift’s Eras Tour shows would be canceled. She was initially slated to perform for three nights.

Swift has now spoken on the incident for the first time.

Posting a photo on Instagram to honor the end of the Eras Tour’s European leg, the 34-year-old singer wrote in the caption: “Having our Vienna shows cancelled was devastating. The reason for the cancellations filled me with a new sense of fear, and a tremendous amount of guilt because so many people had planned on coming to those shows.

“But I was also so grateful to the authorities because thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives.

“I was heartened by the love and unity I saw in the fans who banded together. I decided that all of my energy had to go toward helping to protect the nearly half a million people I had coming to see the shows in London.

“My team and I worked hand in hand with stadium staff and British authorities every day in pursuit of that goal, and I want to thank them for everything they did for us.”

She continued: “Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows.

“In cases like this one, ‘silence’ is actually showing restraint, and waiting to express yourself at a time when it’s right to. My priority was finishing our European tour safely, and it is with great relief that I can say we did that.”
