Data ‘reveals’ average penis size across ‘typical US city’ but everyone is pointing out the same thing

Finally, the hard data everyone has been trying to get their hands on

People on social media have been scratching their heads and furiously debating data that claims to show the average penis size.

Fascination about what is big, small, or average when it comes to penis size is a lot more prevalent than you might think.

Reddit post alleging to show what the ‘estimated distribution of erect penis lengths in Mid-size U.S city’ has certainly got people’s attention.

Some have remarked that the ‘statisdicks’ have put them in a pretty good mood, as they fall on the higher end of the graph, while others have pointed out that there may be some simple issues with the data that make the information a lot less useful.

Unfortunately, the post, which was shared on the ‘interesting as f***’ Reddit board on May 20, doesn’t show who conducted the research or when it was done.

The graph’s Y axis shows the number of men where as the X axis shows different sections for penis length and a total of 200,000 men were asked to participate.

The clear favorite section, peaking at 60,000, was a penis length between 5 and 5.49 inches. In 2nd place was the 4.5-4.99 inches and 3rd was 5.5 to 5.99 inches.

But those who were sceptical pointed out that the data is likely based on men’s self reported sizes rather than a health professional doing it.

Ultimately meaning that an unknown number could have boosted their numbers just a touch.

As well as this, others pointed out that those who are aware of their smaller sizes are less likely to want to take part in such a study, regardless of whether it is anonymous.

And the third issue being that if men did do the recording themselves, many could have done so incorrectly, making their total smaller or larger than it actually is.

One user joked: “I’d love to see a study that compares the distribution of men’s self-reported sizes versus men’s actual sizes.”

Another said: “Self-reported measurements often yield higher averages than those taken by health professionals, with some studies showing men exaggerating their penis size by up to 21%.”

With a third adding: “Methodology would be relevant here – I would think guys on the shorter end of this might not be signing up for opportunities to have their dick measured.”

Another simply joked: “This feels hard to believe but I guess I’m pretty big.”

And others demanded that without a source the data doesn’t hold that much value, so maybe don’t pay it too much mind.

Man shows how he gets his entire face tattoo removed by laser but everyone is pointing out one thing

While some still view tattoos as a permanent decision, technology has made the removal of said tattoos far more common in recent years

While many believe tattoos are a permanent decision, that isn’t fully the case, as tattoo removals become more common in recent years.

With the use of Q-switched lasers, which break down the ink by identifying its contrast against a person’s skin tone, tattoo removals have become far more commonplace and accurate.

While it typically takes several sessions of Q-switched laser treatment to have the tattoo fully removed from one’s body, the end results are usually quite astounding. However, before you get to that point, the area where your tattoo is getting removed could look a bit peculiar while you undergo what can amount to weeks and months of treatment.

Recently, one man has gone viral for a short video of him having his face tattoos removed via this laser treatment, with many being left amazed by both the technology and the man’s decisions.

The video, uploaded by @shivaservat on Instagram, shows that the man’s face was completely covered in tattoos, with minimal space left available prior to having them removed. While little is known about the man, many have pointed out that the decision to get so many tattoos on his face was unwise, as it generally can make living a normal life far more difficult.

“I cannot imagine going ‘oops’ for a full face tat. Wild,” said one commenter.

Others had similar critical sentiments: “I guess he finally wanted a job not at a Halloween theme park.”

“Don’t make permanent decisions based on temporary mood swings,” another commenter proclaimed.

Others wondered what the man would look like following his first session of tattoo removal, as his face would still be showing the effects of the treatment in the following weeks.

One commenter joked, “He finna look like Deadpool,” in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that has amassed over 74,000 likes in less than a day.

Despite many being very critical and dumbfounded by the man’s decisions, as the common belief is that both the man’s tattoos and subsequent tattoo removals would cost a near fortune, others were more forgiving and generally accepting of the man’s choice.

“Everyone hating on the guy for getting tattoos in the first place. He got him because he wanted to and he’s getting them removed because he wanted to,” one commenter defended.

“No need to be so negative.”

Another, while being generally against tattoos in general, expressed praise for the man’s decision to get them removed.

“Good for him removing the tattoo, people are destroying their beautiful skin doing these face, neck or body tattoos,” the commenter said.

Walmart reveals new logo for first ‘refresh’ in nearly 20 years but everyone is pointing out the same thing

Walmart has excitedly unveiled its new logo — and everyone has been left saying the same thing.

Yesterday (January 13), the multinational corporation shared a media release detailing its apparent ‘comprehensive brand refresh’.

The statement began: “Walmart is excited to announce a comprehensive brand refresh that reflects its evolution as a people-led, tech-powered omnichannel retailer.

“From its humble beginnings in Bentonville, Arkansas, in 1951, Walmart has grown into a global leader dedicated to helping people save money and live better.”

Going on to detail what has changed, Walmart said that the ‘refresh’ is regarding its logo’s wordmark, spark, color palette and tone.

While the changes imply that the iconic Walmart logo has undergone a drastic change, it’s far from it.

The color palette is now supposedly ‘True Blue and Spark Yellow’ and the ‘sparks’ seem to have simply become marginally wider.

People have since been sharing their thoughts online of the ‘updated look’ from Walmart, and many people have been echoing similar sentiments.

Commenting on before and after photos of the logo, one person wrote on Twitter: “How much do you think they paid for this? $1M? $10M? $100M?”

Someone else quipped: “Wow, this is remarkable! I hope they’re paying that graphic designer a lot of money.”

“Absolutely incredible work by their design team. Raises for them all,” joked someone else.

Another person suggested: “Some consulting firm fleeced them for $500M for this.”

Poking fun on Jaguar’s recent decision to drastically change its logo, a different person penned: “This is a win because it wasn’t the Jaguar design agency that did it.”

Despite the scepticism about the new look, William White, senior vice president and Chief Marketing Officer of Walmart US, seems to be quite pleased with the ‘refresh’.

“While the look and feel of our brand is more contemporary, our refreshed brand identity reflects Walmart’s enduring commitment to both [Walmart founder] Sam [Walton]’s principles and serving our customers however they need us,” he said.

“As our customers evolve, we will too. Our Walmart will always be their Walmart, and our brand will always be a testament to how we innovate and change alongside them.”

The press released added: “The updated brand identity will help Walmart build credibility and connection, become known for its convenient digital-first services and be seen as a more modern, culturally dynamic brand.”

Man flies drone into North Korea from China to capture incredible footage but everyone’s pointing out the same thing

The images caught attention from thousands of Reddit users after being shared on the platform

North Korea is a country famously shrouded in mystery, especially since it sealed itself off at the start of the Covid-19 outbreak, but one social media user claimed to get a unique insight into the nation with the help of a drone.

About a year before North Korea welcomed – and then promptly restricted – Western tourists from visiting for the first time in five years, one drone owner took to Reddit to claim they’d managed to fly their device over the border from China into North Korea.

They shared the images they’d caught online, alongside the caption: “Drone pics of North Korea, I was in China, my drone flew across the border.”

The images are indeed taken from the high perspective of a drone flying over a metropolitan area, and they quickly caught the attention of intrigued users hoping to get an insight into the notoriously secretive region.

The post has received more than 145,000 upvotes, and features images of a large building which is decorated with pictures of Kim Il-sung, the founder of North Korea, as well as Kim Jong-il.

Users have noticed that the streets in the images appear to be eerily empty, especially for what looks to be a large city. It’s unclear what time the images were captured, but it’s clearly light outside.

In some of the images, people can even be seen on the ground looking up and pointing at the drone as it flies over.

Sharing their thoughts, one person wrote: “Am I tripping or is there no street drainage at all? Definitely no traffic lights. Looks like a concrete model of a city.”

A second said: “It’s interesting how the uncanny valley exists for inanimate things as well. This is close enough to being an actual city that it’s disturbing.”

Above all though, one of the most common responses to the images wasn’t about their content at all, but about the person who captured them.

Reddit users pointed out the person controlling the drone could likely have got in serious trouble for infiltrating the border, with one writing: “That seems like a dangerous game.”

Other users questioned exactly how the user had apparently managed to cross the border so easily, writing: “Guy singlehandedly invaded N. Korea.”

Another joked: “If this random dude with a drone from a store can this easily spy on North Korea, imagine the intel the US has. US intelligence are probably like ‘wait s***, we spent hundreds of millions on spy satellites and could have just used a f****** $500 drone?'”

Footage reportedly shows images from inside North Korea after a drone pilot claimed to have flown a drone over the country.

North Korea is notorious for its secrecy, with tourists previously only being allowed in under strict supervision before those from certain countries were barred.

A Reddit user claimed that while he was in China, he decided to send his drone on quite the adventure. (Reddit/u/XiaoHao2)A Reddit user claimed that while he was in China, he decided to send his drone on quite the adventure. (Reddit/u/XiaoHao2)

As such it’s been impossible for many to visit the country since 2020, though North Korea is now relaxing the restrictions.

One person claimed that they had decided to try and get their own look at North Korea, though without actually entering.

In a post on Reddit they claimed that while in China, they had flown a drone over the border with North Korea and shot footage of what was there.

The Redditor claimed that they had posted the footage to the social media platform, with the post subsequently going viral with some 144,000 upvotes.

Among the images shot by the drone are ones of a large building which is decorated with pictures of Kim Il-sung, the founder of North Korea, as well as Kim Jong-il.

The streets are also very empty, with no motorists and few pedestrians, though it’s also not clear what time the footage was taken.

In some of the clips, people can even be seen on the ground looking up and pointing at the drone as it flies over.

And social media users certainly had a few thoughts about the stunt.

A third posted: “Yesss but barely any cars or people. No trash anywhere. It’s so bizarre to look at it.”

But there was still one thing that a lot of people thought about the images, and that was that the person who piloted the drone could definitely get into a lot of trouble.

Not only that, that it had been a very dangerous thing to do.

There were also some who were left perplexed as to how easily he had managed to fly the drone over the border.

One person joked: “Guy singlehandedly invaded N. Korea.”

A second observed: “If this random dude with a drone from a store can this easily spy on North Korea, imagine the intel the US has.

“US intelligence are probably like ‘wait s***, we spent hundreds of millions on spy satellites and could have just used a f****** $500 drone?'”

Someone else warned: “Causing an international incident as a goof,” while another said: “That seems like a dangerous game.”

Others observed that the relationship between China and North Korea, which is cordial, could mean that it was unlikely to result in any serious consequences even if the drone had been shot down.
