Everyone left saying the same thing after shocking footage shows tourist breaking ‘Van Gogh’ chair after sitting on it

The unnamed couple have been heavily criticized online for their ‘irresponsible’ actions

People are all saying the same thing about a couple who broke a piece of artwork in an Italian museum.

The pair of tourists have gone viral for all the wrong reasons after Palazzo Maffei Verona shared security footage of the moment they both sat on a chair that was clearly part of an exhibition for photos.

The artwork in question was created by Nicola Bolla and consists of a crystal-covered chair resembling the one depicted in Van Gogh’s 1888 painting.

While the museum has since shared the shocking footage to its social media pages, it has not identified the couple who broke the chair. Instead, it said that sharing the video was an ‘opportunity to reflect and raise public awareness’.

Palazzo Maffei Verona said in a statement: “An irresponsible gesture at Palazzo Maffei. What you have just seen is not a joke, but an episode that actually happened in the rooms of Palazzo Maffei.

“Superficial and disrespectful behavior has put the integrity of a work of art at risk: the ‘Van Gogh’ chair by the artist Nicola Bolla was damaged by some visitors, who, waiting for the security guards to leave, chose to take an ‘effective’ photo, ignoring every rule of respect towards art and cultural heritage.

“We decided not to limit ourselves to a simple report of the incident. We want to transform this episode into an opportunity to reflect and raise public awareness: art must be admired, experienced, but above all respected. Always.”

The video has sparked a huge response on social media, with a lot of people left saying the same thing…

“I hope they pay for the damage and if it’s invaluable, they must at least give them a pretty fine,” one person wrote.

“They should be identified and punished for the damage caused,” suggested another.

Echoing similar sentiments, somebody else penned: “I hope and asked for the damage to the restoration.”

A different person questioned: “Have those responsible been charged? Did they pay for the damage?”

Away from calling for the couple to be forced to pay up, others argued that the artwork should have had ropes around it to make it clearer that it wasn’t made for sitting on.

It’s believed that the chair has since been restored. It’s unknown how much it cost to do so, though.

UNILAD have approached the Italian museum for comment on this and for clarification on charges or fines the couple might now face.

Man’s jaw-dropping dating profile with extreme demands has everyone saying the same thing

Surely he has to be joking…right?

A man’s dating profile is so bad it’ll make you genuinely consider giving up online dating altogether and taking your ex back.

I salute you if you’re still trying to stay afloat riding the rough seas of dating profiles, but I should warn you once you’ve seen this man’s list of requirements, it will definitely be enough to put you off looking for a relationship online for good.

The dating profile of a 28-year-old man has gone viral on social media, shared to Twitter by Right Wing Cope.

Luckily for the dating app user, his name and image have been cropped out, and once you see his bio, you’ll get why.

The bio reads: “I make more money than you and I’m more fit than 95 percent of America. I’m an a**hole.”

If it just ended there perhaps – at a stretch – you could argue he’d at least pay for dates and isn’t fake about always being a nice person, because we all have our days, right?

Alas, the profile only gets worse from there.

He continues: “If you have a ‘guy best friend’ swipe left. I don’t keep friends that are women and I have ever ex blocked. I expect you to be on the same level. That means no guy friends and all ex’s blocked. This is a boundary, not an insecurity. If you feel attacked by this, check YOURSELF.”

Yikes.

Oh and it certainly doesn’t end there either, the user noting they keep their ‘circle tighter than your a**’ – charming – wishing any potential suitors ‘good luck’ at ‘getting in,’ warning them they’ve ‘gotta be something special’.

Special and clearly deluded that is.

The cherry on the cake? “No sl*t, I don’t have a Snapchat.” Charming.

Potentially the funniest piece of information on the bio is the fact he’s also 5’7…and a dispensary manager – I don’t think I even need to comment.

And it’s not taken long for people to flock to the comments to weigh in.

Feeling the festive spirit already, one Twitter user wrote: “He’s an angry elf.”

“Woah, and this guy is single? And he can fit more than 95% of american men in his asshole? Did I read that right?” Another added.

A third commented: “The 5’ 7’’ sent me to the fucking moon!”

If the fact someone actually like this exists out there wasn’t so alarming, the absurdity of it all would’ve certainly made my day too.

And a fourth resolved: “He’s going to die alone.”

Fans on social media are all saying the same thing after Justin Bieber shared a video of him kissing rapper Sexyy Red.

Bieber, 31, has sparked concern in recent weeks with a series of cryptic posts he’s shared on social media, including one in which he admitted to feeling ‘hate’ and ‘hurt’.

In one post the ‘What Do You Mean?’ singer said he was ‘always told when [he] was a kid not to hate but it made [him] feel like [he] wasn’t allowed to have it’.

“Which made me feel like [sic] I have been drowning feeling unsafe to acknowledge it,” he continued in the post. “I think we can only let hate go by first acknowledging it’s there, how couldn’t we feel hate from all of the hurt we have experienced?”

He’s also recently denied claims that he’s ‘broke’ and in million of dollars worth of debt.

Bieber took to Instagram once more earlier this week with the ‘Boyfriend’ hitmaker posting a video on Thursday (April 17) that sees him sitting in what appears to be a booth at a bar or a club as ‘Pound Town’ rapper Sexyy Red, 27, walks over and sits next to him.

The video immediately sees Sexyy Red go in for a hug before Bieber gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Set to the background music of Red’s song ‘Hoochie Coochie’, the pair then exchange a few words with evident smiles on both of their faces.

“Why does he look happier with her than with Hailey,” one fan said on social media, while other Bieber followers seemed to have a similar sentiment.

A second said: “He never been happier,” while a third added: “I forgot he could smile.”

Bieber married Hailey, 28, back in 2018, and the former was seemingly not bothered by the video as she commented on with a trio of love hearts.

The celebrity couple welcomed a baby boy last August, with Bieber announcing the special news on Instagram.

Bieber shared an image of one of the newborn’s tiny little feet, with Hailey’s hand in shot too.

The caption read: “Welcome home, Jack Blues Bieber.”

And it was immediately revealed there may be a heartwarming reason behind the baby’s name – specifically the name ‘Jack’.

Bieber’s father called Jeremy has the middle name of Jack, which led to many online suggesting it could be a sweet nod to his dad.

A dad was on an amusement park ride in Arizona when he was forced to make a terrifying decision

A dad has spoken out about the ‘unthinkable’ moment he was forced to make the decision to get up from a moving rollercoaster.

On Sunday (December 1), a family’s trip to Castles N’ Coasters in Phoenix, Arizona turned from a birthday celebratory treat into a nightmare.

The family had fan on the Magic Carpet ride before deciding to brave one of the bigger rides – Desert Storm.

As per Fox 10 Phoenix, Castles N’ Coasters’ website describes Desert Storm: “Test your courage as you challenge the excitement of vertical drops, loops, and spins!”

It also states the minimum height requirement for the ride if 42 inches.

NBC reports the ride features a double loop-the-loop and riders are secured into their seats with a lap bar – however, the father of the family who visited the park on Sunday claims he didn’t end up quite as secure on the ride as he should’ve been.

The dad of the family – who wished to remain anonymous – told NBC News that his lap bars came down and ‘clicked twice’.

“So, click, click and you know, checked it, it was latched,” he continued. The father also claims the ride’s operator didn’t physically check the bars, but he himself ‘pushed up’ on his to check.

The ride then began to make its ascent, clicking away as you’d expect a rollercoaster to do, but then the dad realized something which made his blood run cold.

“We get just about to the top and I hear a click different from the click of the chain taking us up,” he continued. “And so I checked my lap bar one more time and it released.”

The dad said he had ‘mere seconds to act,’ quickly weighing up whether he’d stay put and risk flying off, or get off.

And footage taken from the ground shows the shocking moment he made the choice to get up while the rollercoaster was still moving and climb out onto the catwalk next to it.

“I just started to climb down because I just wanted off of that,” he said.

He alleges the operator didn’t even realize there had been an issue until he reached the ground, with the dad questioning why they weren’t paying more attention and arguing if they had been, they should’ve been able to hit some sort of emergency stop button to halt the coaster.

According to NBC News, Arizona does not regulate its amusement parks, however, Arizona Government Legislation states amusement parks have to have rides inspected ‘at least once a year by a [private] insurer’ and have a written permit alongside insurance for the ride.

The dad is calling for all amusement parks which ‘basically have people’s lives in their hand’ to be better regulated, alleging he filed a report with the park but didn’t receive a copy.

He resolved: “I think the worst part for me is having the kids there and knowing that it could have been one of them.

“[…] I think the scariest part was the negligence on their part and just the absolute carelessness that they had throughout the entire thing.”

UNILAD has contacted Castles N’ Coasters for comment.

A terror attack that claimed the lives of 26 people was unknowingly captured on video by a smiling man enjoying a ride on a zip-line.

Armed militants carried out the massacre in northern India, more specifically at the picturesque Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam, Kashmir, on Tuesday last week (April 22).

But while the horrors unfolded beneath him, Rishi Bhatt, from was too transfixed on his phone and capturing his elation to hear the gun shots and see the countless people fleeing from the scene.

At least four militants unloaded into roughly three dozen people, with only one local among the dead.

Kashmir Resistance, known officially as The Resistance Front (TRF), has since claimed responsibility for the attack.

Now, Bhatt has spoken out about the trauma that unfolded.

“I saw five to six people getting shot,” he said, as per The New Indian Express. “I unlatched my belt and jumped down, took my wife and son and started running away. We saw people hiding at a spot which was like a pit, so you could not spot someone easily there. We too hid there.

“I found out that men in two families ahead of us were asked their religion and shot in front of my wife and son. My wife and son were screaming.”

He continued to say that the shooting continued for 10 more minutes, before pausing and then starting again.

“The firing started again and 4-5 people were shot. 15-16 tourists were shot in front of us.” he said.

According to Bhatt, the army then arrived at the scene twenty minutes later.

Two days after the attack, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a fiery warning to TRF, as he ‘strongly’ condemned the attack during a rally in Bihar.

“We will pursue them to the ends of the earth,” he said, adding: “Terrorism will not go unpunished. Every effort will be made to ensure that justice is done.”

TRF emerged back in 2019, and has since been listed as terrorist organization by the US, with the group believed to have stemmed from the abhorrent Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), which the United Nations (UN) lists on its website as have been affiliated with Osama bin Laden.

It writes: “[LeT] is a Pakistan-based organization which has engaged in terrorist activity and supported listed individuals and entities, including Al-Qaida and Usama bin Laden’.

The region of Kashmir has long been disputed by India and Pakistan over who owns the territory since Pakistan separated from India in 1947.

India accused Pakistan of backing the attack, however, Pakistan denied any involvement, Sky News reports.

The BBC reports that around 1,500 suspects from across Kashmir have been detained for questioning, according to police sources.

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to condemn the attack, writing: “Deeply disturbing news out of Kashmir. The United States stands strong with India against Terrorism.”
