A lip reader has revealed what Melania Trump said to her POTUS husband during a military parade, and it’s so long-term relationship coded.
Marriages appear to be the same for everyone, regardless of whether you’re the President of the United States or not.
There are ups and downs, bickers and appreciative words, hugs and spats at some point in your lives.
However, when you go on to become the First Lady and President of the US, these moments can be caught on camera.
Take a look at French President Emmanuel Macron, for example.

His alleged disagreement with his wife went viral after it appeared that she pushed his face with her hands whilst they were talking in the presidential jet.
There’s just not a lot of privacy when you’re a high-profile couple.
As for Donald Trump and Melania, they have eyes on them at all times when they leave the White House, and often, the public become very interested in the things they discuss.
Such was the case of when the pair attended Saturday’s military parade (June 14).
The pair were watching troops as they marched below them, and according to an expert, Melania shot her husband down when he made a claim about his conduct.
But this wasn’t a fiery exchange, according to Nicola Hickling, a lip reading expert- it was a little bit of fun.
She explained that when Melania praised the marching troops by telling her husband that ‘they’re good’, her hubby made a comment in jest.
He said, as per Hickling: “I pushed my finger on one of them.”
Melania then reportedly playfully rebuffed him, stating: “You didn’t do that.”

Having been called out, Trump had no way of doubling down on his joke after she shot it down, according to the expert, so he simply agreed, telling her: “You’re right, I never pushed my finger on them.”
With an exchange of touches to her knee, it appears as though the couple were enjoying themselves and each other’s company at the celebration which was to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the US Army, as well as Trump’s 79th birthday being staged on the same day.
Rumors of strife between the pair has been rampant since his first tenure in 2016, and when he came back to the White House this year, theories only worsened.
This is because the 55-year-old former model opts to keep a low profile and is rarely seen in public, as well as being notably absent from her husband’s campaign trail.
Melania also dodged Trump’s court appearances and only attended the late Pope Francis’ funeral the day before her birthday and the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn.
It was also revealed that the mom-of-one has made only a handful of visits to the White House in her husband’s months of being in office, accounting for less than 14 days in total, reports The New York Times.
While this could be simply that she prefers to live outside of the political landmark, others think it’s a sign that things aren’t well in the Trump household.

Melania Trump was spotted allegedly advising Donald Trump on what he ‘should’ do in a moment during Pope Francis’ funeral proceedings.
Earlier today, the funeral proceedings of the former head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, commenced after the religious leader passed away on April 21.
Hundreds of thousands flocked to St Peter’s Square in Vatican City to pay their respects including world leaders such as President of France Emmanuel Macron, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Prime Minister of the UK Keir Starmer and Prince William.
Also in attendance was US president Donald Trump and first lady Melania – the pair flying out from Washington, D.C. on Friday.
While at the Vatican City, Trump was spotted making a particular ‘seven-word comment’ to his wife, however, Melania was also caught making an alleged suggestion to her husband regarding his etiquette.
During the two-hour long service, it’s reported attendees are invited to turn to those next to them and shake hands as a ‘sign of peace’.
Lip reading expert Nicola Hickling – from Lip Reader Limited, speaking on behalf of Oddspedia – told the Express she believes Melania turned round to Trump to say: “You should go do it.”
The expert claims Melania even repeated herself before Trump’s alleged response: “Oh, alright.”
The POTUS then proceeded to shake hands with President of Finland Alexander Stubb, alongside President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
UNILAD has contacted a representative for Melania Trump for a comment.
If Trump was indeed reluctant to engage in the ‘sign of peace,’ well, it wouldn’t be a massive surprise given the US president’s unleashing of hefty tariffs on countries across the globe – a trade war Trump couldn’t help but mention in the run-up to Francis’ funeral.

Alongside being slammed online for turning up to the late pope’s funeral in a blue suit as opposed to the traditional black – known for being a symbol of mourning and respect – Trump was also branded ‘disrespectful’ for his comments to media as he was leaving Washington DC.
Prior to leaving, Trump said of Francis: “[He] loved the world, actually, and he was just a good man. I thought he was a fantastic kind of a guy.”
However, he then went on to discuss how the funeral would also see him able to ‘meet with a lot’ of other world leaders.
Trump told MSNBC: “It’s going to be very interesting. We’re going to meet with a lot of the foreign leaders, they want to meet.

“Trade deals are going very well. I think Russia and Ukraine, I think they are coming along, we hope, very fragile. And Iran I think is going very well. We’ll see what happens. We’re working on plenty of things.”
A Twitter user responded: “My goodness. Please tell me Donald Trump isn’t going to try to work trade deals at Pope Francis’s funeral.”
“Disrespectful,” another added.
A third commented: “He should be shunned.”

Donald Trump made a comment about a certain ‘him’ to Melania during Pope Francis’ funeral proceedings.
The funeral proceedings of Pope Francis commenced earlier today (April 26), five days after his passing on April 21.
Hundreds of thousands have flocked to St Peter’s Square in Vatican City to pay their respects to the late religious leader.
US President Donald Trump and wife Melania were among the world leaders in attendance, including President of France Emmanuel Macron, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Prime Minister of the UK Keir Starmer and Prince William.
The Trumps traveled to the Vatican City yesterday on Melania’s 55th birthday and during the two-hour service, Trump was spotted making a ‘seven-word’ comment to the First Lady.
Lip reader Nicola Hickling – from Lip Reader Limited speaking on behalf of Oddspedia – told the Express the US President uttered the words: “I’ll go over and speak to him.”
And Melania’s response? Well, Hickling noted a ‘side eye’.
Who the ‘him’ is? Well, who knows. Given Trump’s not exactly pleasant relations with many other world leaders right now given his tariff war, he could mean anyone.
However, given the funeral proceedings were the first time Trump has seen Volodymyr Zelenskyy since he raised his voice and accused the President of Ukraine of ‘gambling with World War Three’, outlets suspect the comments could have been made in regard to him – Zelenskyy positioned several seats away from Trump.
To the surprise of some, Trump did actually end up in the front row of the funeral proceedings, despite initially being suspected of landing himself a third-tier seat.

While the Vatican didn’t release any official details prior to proceedings, outlets reported it was expected to see Catholic royalty given priority with the front row, followed by non-Catholic royals, including Prince William.
World leaders and heads of state would be next according to alphabetical order of the name of their country in French – expected to see Trump a few rows back.
MSNBC reported the Holy See press office as stating Trump would ultimately end up seated between Estonia and Finland’s leaders, however, there was also politics to take into consideration – leader of Catholics in England and Wales, Cardinal Vincent Nichols noting in an interview with the PA news agency in Rome, the seating arrangement also takes into consideration ‘big egos’.
Ultimately, Trump managed to bag a front-row seat despite coming under fire for his etiquette earlier on in the proceedings, even slammed as a ‘disgrace to the US’.
And as to whether Trump did end up speaking to Zelenskyy?

Well, he did before the funeral, the pair reported as having a ‘very productive discussion’ where they agreed to hold more talks in the future.
UNILAD previously contacted the White House for comment.

A lip reader has revealed what Barack Obama and Donald Trump said to one another at Jimmy Carter’s funeral.
The former presidents were two of the many well-known faces to attend Carter’s funeral yesterday (January 9) in Washington D.C.
Carter died at the age of 100 years old on December 29. He was the longest-lived president in US history and is survived by his children Jack, Chip, Jeff, and Amy, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
The former president, who left office in 1981, lived so long that two of the eulogies were written by people who died before him — his vice president Walter Mondale, and his White House predecessor Gerald Ford.
Carter was laid to rest in Washington National Cathedral. All of his living successors were in attendance, with President Joe Biden, the first sitting senator to endorse his 1976 run for the White House, delivering a eulogy.
Former president Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump, political rivals who have mocked each other for years, sat next to each other and talked for several minutes — even sharing a laugh.
Now, a lip reader has revealed what the pair were seemingly chatting about.

In one snippet of their lengthy conversation, the lip reader – who spoke with Sky News – shared that Obama was saying something about making it ‘soon’, with Trump admitting: “I haven’t got a clue.”
“Big, big money,” Obama replied. “And you’ll always get people leaving their cabin.”
Elsewhere, Obama was seen laughing at Trump said: “Can you imagine?”
“We are here for a tough show,” the President-elect continued.
Trump also asked his White House predecessor: “Would you give me a go at starting it?”
Obama then said: “Yeah, I would. Yeah. We’ll see what happens.”
Trump went on to discuss getting the public’s view on something, but it’s unclear what.
Away from what Obama and Trump were chatting about, Carter’s family paid tribute to the 100-year-old.
“He built houses for people who needed homes,” said Joshua Carter, a grandson who recalled how Carter regularly taught Sunday school in his native hamlet of Plains, Georgia, after leaving the White House.

“He eliminated diseases in forgotten places. He waged peace anywhere in the world, wherever he saw a chance. He loved people.”
Jason Carter, another grandson, praised his grandfather and his wife Rosalynn, who died in 2023.
He wryly noted the couple’s frugality, such as washing and reusing Ziploc bags, and the former president’s struggles with using his mobile phone.
“They were small-town people who never forgot who they were and where they were from no matter what happened in their lives.”

A body language expert has broken down exactly what happened when Melania ‘turned her face’ from Trump as he failed to kiss her during his presidential inauguration.
Speaking inside the US Capitol building for his second inauguration today (January 20), Donald Trump revealed his plans for the future as the 47th president.
Before his grand speech, Trump was seen arriving with his wife and incoming first lady, Melania Trump, for a church service, the tradition which marks the start of the inauguration and the end of office for Joe Biden.
But before entering the chamber, Trump appeared to try and kiss Melania in what could’ve been a touching moment.
However, Melania, donning a huge hat, appeared to snub her husband, instead turning her face for a peck on the cheek.
After watching the moment, body language expert Judi James has shared her thoughts on what Melania’s dodge could be indicating.
Speaking to Paddy Power, James said Trump entered the inauguration event ‘with a slow alpha presence’ with a ‘mouth shrug smile to suggest a sombre, serious approach to the job.’
When he reached for Melania, James said he ‘tenderly’ took her hand ‘in a romantic, hand-linking gesture that would normally be seen at a wedding ceremony’.

She continued: “He then leant in to plant a kiss on his wife and for a moment it looked as though he was going for a lip-to-lip kiss.
“Melania leant towards her husband to reciprocate but she also turned her face to instigate a cheek kiss rather than the mouth variety.”
James explained it was a ‘heart-stopping moment’ as it appeared ‘as though their synchronicity might be out of kilter’.
However, Trump apparently ‘settled for an air kiss’.
You can see what happened in the clip below:
Their lips never made contact but they made a small ‘mwa’ with their mouths, James continued, which made the gap between them ‘small enough to provide the appearance of contact’.
The pro concluded that Melania was happy with the interaction, adding: “Melania beamed at her husband for the moment of not just acknowledgment, thanks and recognition but the signal of her being a priority and them being more of a team in the White House.”

Body language experts have also pointed out Melania’s ‘strange’ outfit choice (Joe Raedle/Getty Images)
The microscopic analysis comes as another body language expert, Darren Stanton, commented on Melania’s unusual choice of dress.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Stanton said she chose a ‘very statement look with the big fedora’, noting that it could’ve been chosen to ‘hide her face if she wants to’ while the navy blue fit was a ‘strange’ decision, considering ‘blue signifies the Democrats’.
Throughout the inauguration, Stanton said the pair also exhibited ‘little to no emotion’ with ‘no holding hands’.
He continued: “[I]t almost looks quite a solemn occasion, if we were to judge by their facial expressions. There’s no eye contact, no smiles, no emotion between the two of them.
“She gives off the sense she doesn’t want to be there, with no micro-expressions of happiness from Melania, it was quite a strange entrance.”
Everything Trump has pledged to do as 47th US president
Delaying the TikTok ban
After TikTok went dark yesterday (January 19), it was bought back after mere hours with a message reading: “Welcome back! Thank you for your patience and support. As a result of President Trump’s efforts, TikTok is back in the US!”
Trump will reportedly sign an executive order to delay the ban saying he wants to ‘make a deal to protect our national security.’
Immigration
In a statement during a rally at Madison Square Garden during his presidential race he said: “On Day 1, I will launch the largest deportation program in American history to get the criminals out.
“I will rescue every city and town that has been invaded and conquered, and we will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail, then kick them the hell out of our country as fast as possible.”

Planning over 100 executive orders
It’s been reported by AP that Trump plans on preparing over 100 executive orders on his first day in the White House. Trump’s allies have reportedly spent time preparing documents that Trump can sign quickly, on issues such as deportation, school gender policies and vaccine mandates, without input from congress.
“There will be a substantial number,” said Senator John Hoeven, R-N.D.
Making hidden government files public
Including the assassinations of JFK and Martin Luther King Jr., Trump promised at his recent rally in Washington D.C that, in a bid to increase government transparency, he will be making these disclosures in ‘the coming days’.
“And in the coming days, we are going to make public remaining records relating to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy, as well as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.”
‘Make Greenland Great Again Act’
In a bid that has not gone down well with Greenlanders, taking to his social media platform Truth Social Trump said: “For purposes of National Security and Freedom throughout the World, the United States of America feels that the ownership and control of Greenland is an absolute necessity.
“Greenland is an incredible place. The people will benefit tremendously if, and when, it becomes part of our Nation. We will protect it, cherish it, from a very vicious outside World. MAKE GREENLAND GREAT AGAIN!”

January 6 pardons
Trump’s loss in the 2020 election led to the insurrection at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, in turn resulting in the arrests of a number of Trump supporters.
In an interview with TIME, Trump said that looking into the cases of the rioters’ will take place in ‘the first nine minutes’ of his time in office.
In a post shared on his social media channel, Trump said: “I am inclined to pardon many of them. I can’t say for every single one, because a couple of them, probably they got out of control.”
Getting rid of birthright citizenship
Exactly as it sounds, Trump once declared he wanted to get rid of birthright citizenship, which immediately gives citizenship to anyone born in US. Noting that this may not be possible as it’s written into the constitution, he said he wants to achieve this by executive order – bypassing congress again – ‘if we can’.
Cut federal funding for schools educating on ‘inappropriate’ topics
Speaking early last year, Trump addressed a crowd in Iowa and made plans to ‘save [the] country from destruction’.
“On day one, I will sign a new executive order to cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity,” he said, per NPR.
Trump also said he would target schools pushing ‘any other inappropriate racial, sexual or political content on our children’.
Making the US the ‘crypto capital’
Back in 2021, Trump called crypto a ‘scam against the dollar.’ But four years on, he’s pulled a u-turn as he vowed to make the US the ‘crypto capital of the planet’.
On social media, Trump claimed crypto would be ‘mined, minted and made in the US’.
Both he and wife Melania released their own memecoins ahead of the inauguration, while experts previously predicted Bitcoin could reach up to $250,000 this year.
Be a ‘dictator’
In an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity last year, he referred to himself as a ‘dictator’ when asked if he was promising to ‘never abuse power as retribution against anybody’.
In response, Trump said: “Except for Day 1.
“I want to close the border and I want to drill, drill, drill. We’re closing the border and we’re drilling, drilling, drilling,” he continued.
“After that, I’m not a dictator.”

End Green Deals
Trump has spoken previously about his plan to ‘terminate the Green New Deal’, which he dubbed the ‘Green New Scam’.
The Green New Deal was pitched by Democrats Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey, but it was never signed into law.
Addressing the policies in a speech in September, Trump said: “To further defeat inflation, my plan will terminate the Green New Deal, which I call the Green New Scam. Greatest scam in history, probably.
“We [will] rescind all unspent funds under the misnamed Inflation Reduction Act.”
“I’m going to write it out in an executive order. It’s going to end on Day 1.”
Arrange green cards for college graduates
Despite making his stance on migration clear, Trump has advocated for non-US citizens to receive green cards to stay in the country if they graduate from college.
During an episode of the ‘All In’ podcast recorded this year, Trump said: “Anybody graduates from a college, you go in there for two years or four years, if you graduate, or you get a doctorate degree from a college, you should be able to stay in this country […]
“Somebody graduates at the top of the class, they can’t even make a deal with the company because they don’t think they’re going to be able to stay in the country. That is going to end on Day 1.”
Scrap ‘electric vehicle mandates’
Trump plans to scrap Biden administration’s so-called electric vehicle mandate, referring to new pollution standards that incentivize auto manufacturers to increase production of electric and lower-emission vehicles.
Despite vowing to get rid of the policy on his first day, Trump told podcaster Joe Rogan the move could take ‘maybe two days, because it’s a little bit busy’.
Fire the man who indicted him
Trump faced two federal cases in relation to the 2020 election result from special counsel Jack Smith, and the future POTUS has no plans to work with him again.
Speaking on October 24, Trump told the Hugh Hewitt show he would fire Smith ‘within two seconds’.
“He’ll be one of the first things addressed,” he said.
