Pete Davidson issues warning after explaining horrific process of ‘burning off’ all of his tattoos

Pete Davidson has issued a stark warning to anyone thinking about getting a new tattoo.

It’s thought that more than 25 percent of Americans regret getting their tattoos, says Psychology Today, and The King of Staten Island star Davidson is one of them.

The celebrity says that he has around 200 tattoos, and we all remember that ‘MY GIRL IS A LAWYER’ inking he had as an ode to his then-girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

The 31-year-old also seemed to get a tattoo that paid tribute to Kardashian’s children, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

But now, Davidson is wanting to get rid of not only his Kardashian-related inkings, but almost all of his tattoos.

He shared his intentions of getting rid of some of his body art back in 2020, and late last year he debuted some of the ongoing results on Saturday Night Live.

Fans were floored to see Davidson without his signature forearm art.

Davidson has since chatted about his tattoo removal to Jimmy Fallon when featured on his show in recent days.

Noting that his tattoos were ‘going away’, Davidson replied: “Yeah, I’ve been burning them off. They’re almost gone.”

When asked if the removal process is painful, the actor and comedian said: “It’s horrible. It’s worse [than getting the tattoo done].

“They’ve got to burn off a layer of your skin, and then it has to heal for six to eight weeks. And you can’t get in the sunlight. Then you’ve got to do it, like, 12 more times.”

Davidson then turned to the audience and warned: “So really think about that Game of Thrones tattoo you’re thinking of getting.”

Further on in the conversation, Davidson described himself as a ‘sad boy’ for getting nearly 200 inkings, adding that it was a ‘weird time’.

“Everybody was getting tattoos, like, five years ago,” he went on.

In regards to keeping any of his body art, Davidson said ‘maybe two or three’, but didn’t specify which ones.

“I’m trying to clean slate it. I’m trying to be an adult,” the 31-year-old, who was once engaged to Ariana Grande, quipped.

Fallon and Davidson proceeded to chat about Saturday Night Live, as the well-loved live show is marking its 50th anniversary in February.

Davidson has been on and off the show since he was 20 years old.

Speaking last month, the actor revealed that he was (or still is) paid around $3,000 per episode.

Joking what he does with that money, he said he ‘got dinner’.

Pete Davidson unveils results of his major tattoo removal as he makes surprise return to Saturday Night Live

Pete Davidson made a surprise return to Saturday Night Live over the weekend, where he unveiled the results of his major tattoo removal.

Last month, Davidson surprised many of his followers as he stepped out with friend Machine Gun Kelly for an event at The Room at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

A snap from the public appearance showed the results of Davidson’s tattoo removal treatment, with a tee revealing his bare forearms.

Previously, Davidson had dozens of tattoos in black in plastered up and down both arms, but they are no longer present.

Davidson returned to SNL on Saturday (2 November) for a musical skit alongside host John Mulaney.

The comedian and actor was a regular on Saturday Night Live between 2014 and 2022, but made a surprise appearance on the most recent show.

Mulaney starred in a bunch of sketches throughout the night, including one that featured a cameo from Davidson.

One of the them, titled ‘Port Authority Duane Reade’, saw the TV host and Andrew Dismukes shopping at a Duane Reade store.

Davidson appears in the comedy skit wearing a white Rodney Dangerfield t-shirt, with the actor’s arms visible.

While some ink was very faded, some previous tattoos could no longer be seen.

It was quite the contrast considering he had over 100 tattoos at one stage.

Davidson has spoken in the past about wanting to have some of his tattoos removed, revealing he had already began the process during an interview with Seth Meyers on Late Night with Seth Meyers in May 2021.

Speaking of the treatment process, Davidson said: “It takes, like, three hours — you have to get there, like, three hours earlier — to cover all your tattoos.

“For some reason, people in movies, they don’t have them that much.”

Davidson provided an update on the tattoo removal process to People Magazine in July 2021, stating he wanted the treatment to be over by the time he was 30.

“They said by the time I’m 30, they should all be gone. So they got like two more years left of this,” the actor said.

The former Saturday Night Live regular turned 30 last year, and his recent public appearances certainly suggest the treatment has been successful.

Pete Davidson explained the biggest issue after Ariana Grande outed the size of his penis

Pete Davidson explained the biggest issue after Ariana Grande outed the size of his penis

The SNL star put to bed the rumors about the size of his penis.

Pete Davidson explained his surprisingly savage response after Ariana Grande revealed the size of his penis in a very public Twitter post.

The former couple had a whirlwind romance in 2018, with the former Saturday Night Live actor proposing to the Wicked star just a few weeks after getting together.

However, in October 2018, they confirmed their split and the end of their engagement.

In July that year, the chart-topping singer revealed she was working on a song titled ‘Pete’ for her album Sweetener. She later retitled the song ‘Pete Davidson’, perhaps just in case people were confused about who the song was about.

Some fans were on the fence about Grande naming a song after partner at the time, however she defended her decision and explained: “He’s my fiancé. This is my album. I’m an honest and emotional artist and human being and if my openness in my work isn’t for you, that’s OK.”

After the song was announced, one fan tweeted Grande to ask: “How long is Pete.”

They were referencing the track’s duration, but soon realized how the question could have been misinterpreted, given the circumstances.

They quickly followed up to clarify, writing: “OH AS IN THE INTERLUDE NOT AS IN….. ANYWAY.”

Grande saw the humor in the post, and decided to lean into it by actually giving an answer about Davidson’s d*ck.

She wrote: “Like 10 inches? …. Oh f**k …. I mean … like a lil over a minute.”

One person who was apparently unimpressed by the comment was Davidson himself.

The comedian eventually addressed the response in a Netflix special in 2020, where he revealed: “I don’t like that she talked all that sh*t for my penis.”

He claimed ‘everything is huge to her’ because of Grande’s height of five-feet-three-inches. The comedian also said: “Why would she tell everyone that I have a huge penis? So that every girl who sees my d**k for the rest of my life is disappointed.”

Interestingly, Kim Kardashian – another of his ex-girlfriends – has also commented about the comedian’s size by claiming he has ‘big d**k energy’.

In 2023, Davidson actually spoke about the size of his member and its rumored proportions.

When speaking to The Breakfast Club host Charlamagne tha God to promote his series Bupkis, he said: “It’s a very normal-sized penis. It’s not too big or too small.

“It’s big enough to enjoy and not big enough for it to hurt, is what I was told.”

Pete Davidson reveals the surprising amount he was paid on Saturday Night Live

Pete Davidson reveals the surprising amount he was paid on Saturday Night Live

The comedian sparked mixed responses when he revealed how much he made per episode

Pete Davidson sparked debate online after revealing how much he got paid per episode for his work on Saturday Night Live.

SNL is definitely up there as one of the most iconic shows in the United States, with huge Hollywood celebrities regularly appearing as guest hosts and a full roster of comedians ready to show off their skills at any moment.

Davidson is one of the many big names to have worked on the show over the years, and in a recent chat with New York Magazine he and some of his fellow stars discussed what they splashed out on after receiving pay checks from the show.

Cheri Oteri, who worked as an SNL cast member from 1995 to 2000, recalled buying a couch, while Julia Louis-Dreyfus remembered buying a pair of shoes that were ‘out of [her] budget’.

She added: “I’ve got to tell you, I think they were $75.”

This revelation might surprise you, as $75 might not seem too unreasonable for someone who’s on TV, but Davidson’s response to the question offered further insight on the Saturday Night Live salary.

In the video, he said: “Do you guys know what they pay us? It’s like three grand an episode, so I think I got dinner!”

Since $3,000 for a week’s work actually seems very generous, Davidson’s response prompted mixed responses from viewers.

Discussing the video on Reddit, one person wrote: “Yeah 3k a week in NYC isn’t bad by any stretch but it’s not exactly living it up in luxury either.”

However, another user responded to point out that cast members don’t always have a weekly episode, and others pointed out they’d have also been putting up with the high costs that come with living in or near New York.

“Managers & agents take a cut. Taxes take a cut,” one person wrote, as another added: “They only do like 20 episodes a year.”

These were a point backed by another former cast member, Jason Sudeikis, who explained: “I mean you don’t really make enough money to make big purchases. So, I think New York rent was probably the biggest purchase I made after writing on SNL the first year.”

That being said, there were some members of the show who decided to splash the cash on some more luxurious items, with Sarah Silverman admitting she bought a $300 cashmere sweater with her paycheck, while Bowen Yang treated himself to some Gucci shoes.

Davidson first joined SNL in 2014, and took part in sketches such as ‘Chad’ and ‘Jasmine and Aladdin’ before he left in 2022.

Saturday’s SNL marked Pete Davidson’s very last stint inside studio 8H as the comedian left the historic sketch show after eight years.

Taking his seat next to Colin Jost for one final Weekend Update, Davidson, 28, joked about everything from Kanye West to his short-lived engagement to Ariana Grande.

He kicked off the segment by saying: “Hello Colin and [Michael] Che and millions of people only watching to see if I bring up Kanye.”

As for his 2018 engagement to Grande, Davidson quipped: “I’ll never forget this. I called [Lorne Michaels] when I got engaged, I said, ‘Lorne, I just got engaged to Ariana Grande after dating for two weeks’ and he said ‘Oh, hold on for dear life!’”

Davidson also sincerely thanked SNL showrunner Lorne for his support over the years, saying: “I appreciate SNL always having my back and allowing me to work on myself and grow and thank you to Lorne for never giving up on me or judging me.

“Even when everyone else was and believing [in] me and allowing me to have a place to call home with memories that will last a lifetime.”

Of being the youngest cast member in the show’s 46-year-history, having joined at the age of 20, Davidson said: “I never imagined this would be my life.

“Look at me when I started here. Back then, I was just a skinny kid and no one knew what race I was. Now everyone knows I’m white because I became hugely successful while barely showing up to work.”

Davidson started dating Kim Kardashian in October.

Touching upon his first ever SNL audition in front of Lorne, he told the audience that the comedy legend told him: “I don’t think you’re right for this show, so let’s screw this up together.”

Many people will have tuned into Davidson’s farewell episode in the hopes of hearing him hit out at West, who he’s been in a public feud with since it first emerged he’d started dating Kim Kardashian after meeting the reality star on SNL back in October.

Their romance saw Davidson dragged into an ongoing feud with West, with whom Kardashian shares four children.

Davidson confirmed his SNL departure on pal Dave Sirus’s Instagram on Saturday, May 21, penning in part: “When I got the show I was 20 years old and I had no idea what I was doing. I still don’t but especially back then.

“I got to share so much with this audience and literally grow up in front of your eyes. We were together through the good and the bad, the happiest and the darkest of times.”

He concluded: “SNL is my home. I’m so happy and sad about tonight’s show. For so many reasons I can’t explain.”
