People in shock after hearing bizarre leaked audio from Trump’s new head of Social Security reacting to job offer

The role definitely came as a shock to the new bossA former Wall Street executive was just handed a new job, and he made it very clear just how much of a shock this was while speaking to his employees.

Frank Bisignano has now been sworn in as head of the Social Security Administration, one of the largest federal agencies that’s responsible for distributing retirement, disability, and survivor benefits to more than 70 million Americans.

But this seemed to come as a bit of a shock for Bisignano himself, as he held a town hall with Social Security managers from around the country on May 21 and got very candid.

In a leaked audio from the meeting, he insisted that he was not looking for a job from Donald Trump and essentially had no clue about the position.

He said: “So, I get a phone call and it’s about Social Security. And I’m really, I’m really not, I swear I’m not looking for a job.

“And I’m like, ‘Well, what am I going to do?’ So, I’m Googling Social Security. You know, one of my great skills, I’m one of the great Googlers on the East Coast.

“I’m like, ‘What the heck’s the commissioner of Social Security?’”

Hilariously, during the meeting, he also bemoaned about media leaks from within the agency…from a now leaked piece of audio.

He continued: “Put that as the headline for the Post: ‘Great Googler in Chief. Chief in Googler’ or whatever.”

“By the way, I like to have fun at work, we are allowed to laugh, we are allowed to have fun, we are allowed to know each other’s family, we are allowed to be normal, how is that.”

Well despite this, people on social media haven’t exactly been kind about Bisignano seemingly not having a clue what his job is or will entail.

One Twitter user commented: “So he’s 100% in on the time tested and foolproof ‘fake it till you make it’ strategy. Got it.”

Another said: “The qualifications to hold a position in the Trump Admin is to NOT be qualified. If your resume has relevant experience, you don’t even get past the phone screen.”

A third added: “This makes my blood boil. These are NOT serious people, but they’ve accepted serious jobs just for novelty?”

However, some users did defend the new appointment.

One person commented: “People act like you need some elite PhD to run the agency…. You don’t…. What it needs is someone who’s actually built things, managed huge teams, and delivered results.

“Frank Bisignano has done that at the highest level, running billion-dollar companies with real accountability.”

Trump issues illegal migrants ‘exit bonus’ offer and ‘free flight out of our country’ in new tactic for them to ‘self-deport’

The POTUS signed an executive order that would give illegal immigrants an ‘exit bonus’ to leave the US

Donald Trump is planning to offer illegal immigrants an ‘exit bonus’ with a ‘free flight’ out of the country if they ‘self-deport’.

It’s no secret that the Trump administration is on a mission to cut immigration in the US at whatever cost.

Whether its utilizing an old 18th-century wartime law to fuel mass deportations, inflicting high tariffs on neighboring countries to encourage their cooperation in stopping migration, attempting to revoke humanitarian parole to some 500,000 people or sending migrants accused of crime into El Salvador’s mega-jail, it seems the POTUS is exploring all avenues.

Now that Trump has faced some legal backlash from the Supreme Court over some of these controversial methods, the president signed an executive order on Friday (May 9) to launch a new self-deport scheme.

The program, called ‘Project Homecoming’, will offer free government-funded flights plus a financial incentive for illegal immigrants who volunteer to leave the country.

The order stipulates ‘illegal aliens’ have a choice: to willingly leave ‘with federal support and financial assistance’ or ‘face strict enforcement and penalties’.

Those who choose to self-deport can do so via a new CBP Home app which the order states provides ‘government-funded flights at no cost’ to migrants without legal status in the US, including those who lack valid travel documents.

The app even offers a ‘concierge service’ at airports in the US to help them book travel and claim their ‘exit bonus’.

They don’t even need to return to their home country either, as the president said they can go ‘anywhere’ in the world, ‘as long as it’s not here’.

Announcing the move, Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform: “Today, I signed an Executive Order to launch the first-ever self-deportation program. Illegal aliens who stay in America face punishments, including – sudden deportation, in a place and manner solely of our discretion. TO ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS: BOOK YOUR FREE FLIGHT RIGHT NOW!”

In a video, the president explained: “We are making it as easy as possible for illegal aliens to leave America.

“Any illegal alien can simply show up at an airport and receive a free flight out of our country.”

He continued: “We have also launched a phone app called CBP Home, that’s CBP Home, where illegals can book a free flight to any foreign country. As long as it’s not here, you can go anywhere you want.”

Talking about the financial boost, Trump said the ‘exit bonus’ is to ‘further incentivize their self-deportation’.

“This deportation bonus will save American taxpayers billions and billions of dollars,” he continued.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) indicated earlier this week that the ‘exit bonus’ would come to around $1,000 per person, which they will receive once their arrival to their chosen country has been confirmed in the app.

“Eventually, when the illegals are gone, it will save us trillions of dollars,” Trump added.

As for migrants who pass up on the opportunity, Trump issued a stark warning that they will be met with aggressive punishment.

He warned: “However, if illegal aliens choose to remain in America, they’re remaining illegally and they will face severe consequences.

“Illegal aliens who stay in America face punishments, including significant jail time, enormous financial penalties, confiscation of all property, garnishment of all wages, imprisonment and incarceration and sudden deportation in place and manner solely of our discretion.”

“So, to all illegal aliens, book your free flight right now. We want you out of America, but if you’re really good, we’re gonna try and help you get back in,” Trump concluded.

People point out major issue as Trump reportedly preparing to accept ‘$400,000,000 palace in the sky’ as gift

The POTUS is set to receive one of the most valuable gifts ever

Liv Bridge

People are pointing out there could be a major issue if the president is to accept a ‘palace in the sky’ as a gift.

The Trump administration is reportedly preparing to accept an insanely pricey, first-of-its-kind gift given to the US from a foreign government.

The luxurious Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet, that comes in at $400 million with the nickname of a ‘flying palace’, is apparently due to be handed over to the POTUS from the royal family of Qatar.

According to ABC News, Donald Trump will be able to use the plane as its new Air Force One jet until he leaves office, where it is tipped to transfer ownership into the Trump Presidential Library Foundation.

The 13-year-old aircraft will apparently be modified to meet US military criteria to transport the president and transferred to the presidential library before January 1, 2029.

Any costs associated with the transfer will also allegedly be covered by the US Air Force.

It is anticipated the grand gift will be unveiled next week when the president visits Qatar, according to sources who have been briefed in on the plans.

Trump has toured the plane before when it was parked at the West Palm Beach International Airport, Florida, in February.

However, the present is bound to raise questions over the ethics of the sitting president accepting such a valuable item from a foreign power, particularly with concerns over possible bribery.

Dozens on Reddit say their employment contracts prohibit them from accepting gifts of major value, with some saying they can’t take anything worth more than $50 worth a year.

Another Redditor said they work ‘federal adjacent’ and have a limit of $25 a year – meaning one time they had to refuse a $28 t-shirt from a supplier.

Others slammed the lavish gift as ‘bribery on the highest scale’.

“Nothing says American exceptionalism like not being able to build our own AF-1. Nothing says MAGA failure like actually accepting this as a gift,” they added.

Anticipating such backlash, sources told the news outlet that lawyers for the White House counsel’s office and the Department of Justice have already been drafted in.

Under the advice, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is reportedly to conclude that it is legal to accept the mega-jet as a gift and later hand it over to the Trump library.

It will also state that doing so does not violate any bribery laws or the Constitution’s prohibition of any US government official accepting gifts ‘from any King, Prince or foreign state’.

Sources added Attorney General Pam Bondi and Trump’s own top White House lawyer David Warrington concluded it would be legally permission to receive it and transfer it to Trump’s presidential library before the end of his term.

Both the White House and the DOJ determine that, since the gift is not conditioned on any official act, it bypasses such clauses about bribery – and cannot breach the rule about foreign gifts because the plane is being given to the US Air Fore rather than any specific individual.

US social security explained after Trump’s shocking claim that money is being paid to people 149 years old

The president claimed money is being wasted on residents between the ages of 100 to 360

The US Social Security Administration has spoken out after the president claimed money was being dished out to impossibly elderly citizens.

Donald Trump told Congress on Tuesday (March 4) that the administration has been forking out funds on a mass scale of waste to millions of people over 140 years of age.

The 78-year-old President said: “We’re also identifying shocking levels of incompetence and probable fraud in the Social Security program for our seniors.”

He went on to allege that millions of unfeasibly old residents were collecting checks based on Social Security Administration (SSA) data.

This includes:

  • 4.7 million in the age bracket 100 to 109
  • 3.6 million aged 110 to 119
  • 3.47 million aged 120 to 129
  • 3.9 million aged 130 to 139
  • 3.5 million aged 140 to 149
  • 1.3 million aged 150 to 159

Trump said 130,000 citizens older than 160 years old and several hundreds of people older than 220 were also pocketing social security benefits – and even one singular person ‘listed at 360 years of age.’

However, according to a factcheck by NBC News, while the SSA database does apparently have issues in its dataset with real records on the impossibly ancient, it doesn’t mean they are getting paid.

The SSA addressed the concerns of its aged records this week, writing in a statement: “The data reported in the media represent people who do not have a date of death associated with their record.”

It added: “While these people may not be receiving benefits, it is important for the agency to maintain accurate and complete records.”

Since the issue was highlighted by the POTUS, SSA claims it has made ‘significant progress in identifying and correcting beneficiary records of people 100 years old or older.’

The news comes as inspectors have long identified its record-keeping as an issue, but the SSA has argued updating outdated records is costly and unnecessary, according to the news outlet.

Part of the issue comes from its COBOL programming language, reports NewsNation, which doesn’t use a reliable format for dates which means entries with missing or incomplete birthdates will default to a random reference point more than 150 years ago.

Inspection reports in March 2023 and July 2024 further uncovered the agency had failed to set up a system that would accurately log death dates.

Instead of forking out the estimated $9 million to amend the database, the agency automatically stops payments to anyone over the age of 115.

The SSA reiterated in its statement that it accumulates death data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, based on whether a citizen has accessed the healthcare service in the past three or more years, and ‘prioritize[s] cases of individuals age 90 or older’ where the agency ‘attempts to conduct an interview with these individuals to verify they are still alive’.

“If the agency identifies someone is deceased, it immediately stops payment and reports any suspicions of fraud to SSA’s Office of the Inspector General,” it concluded.

Lee Dudek, Acting Commissioner of Social Security, also said: “I thank President Trump for highlighting these inconsistencies during his speech last night to a joint session of Congress.

“We are steadfast in our commitment to root out fraud, waste, and abuse in our programs, and actively correcting the inconsistencies with missing dates of death.”

Pope Leo XIV’s brother shares his stance on Trump’s policies and why he ‘won’t stay silent’

It appears the pope isn’t exactly on board with one of Trump’s most aggressive policies

Liv Bridge

Pope Leo XIV’s brother has finally lifted the lid on the new pope’s stance on Donald Trump’s policies.

On Thursday (May 8) the Vatican announced 69-year-old Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost as the new head of the Roman Catholic Church, who addressed the masses for the first time from the balcony of St Peter’s Basilica as Pope Leo XIV.

The 267th pope is the first American to take the role, being born in Chicago, and has spent much of his life in Peru as a missionary.

And aside from his hefty mission work, and the fact he is multilingual, his position on some of the big issues of the day have remained somewhat shrouded in mystery.

Although we’ve had hints about Leo’s political stance, with the pontiff having previously reposted an anti-Trump tweet, touched upon ‘technology’ and ‘power‘ in his first sermon and shared an article criticizing Vice President JD Vance, we’ve largely been left to speculate on what he really thinks… Until now.

Pope Leo’s sibling, John Prevost, a retired Catholic school principle, has been revealing all the secrets about his younger brother, including what he likes to get up to in his spare time – which, yes, includes watching the movie Conclave.

Now, in a recent interview with New York Times, the 71-year-old said his brother takes a more centrist approach, adding: “I don’t think we’ll see extremes either way.”

John previously said he anticipates Leo will follow in the late Pope Francis’ footsteps, who was known as being one of the most progressive pontiffs in our history.

This is particularly true for the debate around immigration, as John told the news outlet: “I don’t think he’ll stay quiet for too long if he has something to say.

“I know he’s not happy with what’s going on with immigration. I know that for a fact. How far he’ll go with it is only one’s guess, but he won’t just sit back. I don’t think he’ll be the silent one.”

The insight comes as Francis criticized the POTUS during a visit to Mexico in February 2016 for the proposed border wall between the two countries.

“A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not of building bridges, is not Christian,” the late pontiff said at the time. “This is not the gospel.”

He also described Trump’s aggressive mass-deportation plans as a major crisis for ‘the dignity of many men and women.’

In Pope Leo’s first mass, he stressed the need for faith and missionary work while blasting ‘violations of human dignity in the most dramatic manners’ across the world and ‘other wounds that afflict our society.’

He went on to warn that people were turning away from faith in favor of ‘technology, money, success, power [or] pleasure’.
