Fans have been left speechless after Cardi B revealed how much she spends on her and Offset’s three children.
The ‘WAP’ singer and the ‘Migos’ rapper were together from 2017 till 2024, when Cardi B filed for divorce for a second time, having previously done so in 2020 before calling it off.
She initially revealed that she had been ‘single for a minute’ on her Instagram Live, adding: “But I have been afraid… not afraid I just don’t know how to tell the world.”
She also revealed that she was pregnant with their third child, a daughter who she gave birth to in September last year.
Cardi B has never been someone to shy away from speaking her mind, and in a recent post on X Spaces on Friday (May 30), she revealed the cost of her three children’s lifestyles.
Her response came as a result of Offset, 33, allegedly filing spousal support, according to People Magazine.

According to the rapper, her kids, Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and Blossom, 8 months, apparently indulge in numerous activities, share a personal driver and take weekly classes – all of which she claims that she pays for herself.
“Y’all want to know what’s the kids’ bills? Start adding,” Cardi said. “My kids got their own driver. The kids’ driver is on a retainer for $10,000 a month.”
The 32-year-old then slammed Offset for allegedly not helping out on Kulture’s private school tuition costs, which she said amounts to around $45,000.
“Kulture and Wave gets tutoring four times a week,” she revealed. “Kulture’s piano class-that’s $300 an hour, and she gets piano classes three times a week. I’m not sure how much is gymnastic and Wave’s boxing classes, but I pay for that, too.”
She went on to say that her cousin babysits her two eldest kids for ‘$3,000 a week’, adding that she has her own nanny, who is paid $500 each shift because ‘she’s only staying in the daytime.’

“This is not even including food,” she added: “My kids have a personal chef that come from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. that I pay for because people in my house don’t have time to cook.”
Cardi B also pays for 24-hour security team to be stationed outside of the home because of alleged ‘threats’ the family has received in the past.
“I bought that s**t with my sweat and tears,” she claimed, before seemingly addressing her ex by saying: “You have left me with the kids’ bill.”
Meanwhile, fans online were stunned by her claims, as one person wrote: “Cardi pays her kids driver $10K a month sign me up.”
Someone else said: “3k a week to babysit?? Gah damn”, while another wrote: “The cousin gettin paid 3k a week to babysitttt IS TEAAAA!!”

Cardi B and Offset have welcomed their third child together.
Taking to Instagram earlier today, Cardi posted a series of photos of her newborn baby girl.
“The prettiest lil thing,” the rapper wrote in the caption along with pink heart and flower emojis. “9/7/24,” she added revealing the baby’s birth date to be Saturday, September 7.

Cardi and Offset were already parents to daughter Kulture, six, and son Wave, three. They have yet to reveal their new baby’s name, however Cardi shared an adorable collection of photos from the hospital.
In one photo, Offset can be seen cradling the newborn while his two other children stand next to him and look on. She also posted an adorable video of her cradling the baby while listening to music.
The rapper initially announced her pregnancy a day after she filed for divorce from Offset.
Posting a photo of her wearing a red dress and showcasing her bump, Cardi wrote on Instagram in early August: “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!
“You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
Cardi filed for divorce a day earlier in July after six years of marriage. A representative for the rapper confirmed the divorce news to PEOPLE saying: “It’s not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming.”
The pair began dating in 2017 and had an on-again, off-again relationship. After tying the knot that same year, the couple briefly separated a year later toward the end of 2018.
They rekindled their romance soon after, but then broke things off again in September 2020 when Cardi filed for divorce at an Atlanta courthouse.

Around two months later in November, Cardi called off the divorce and reconciled with Offset.
The pair welcomed their first child together, Kulture Kiari Cephus, on July 10, 2018. They welcomed son Wave Set Cephus three years later on September 4, 2021.

Offset shared a video of the gift-giving on Instagram alongside his wife, Cardi B
Cardi B and Offset gifted their four-year-old daughter a whopping $50,000 (£41,962) in cash for her birthday.
At that age, I’d probably be happy with a plastic football or a Spider-Man toy but I suppose some kids would just prefer the cash!
In all fairness though, if you can afford it, why not give your four-year-old half a pension?

The couple’s eldest daughter, while leaning out of the window of a black SUV, was seemingly a bit confused as to why her parents gave her thousands of stacks of paper.

Kulture is clearly still learning her trade when it comes to Hip/Hop related slang as she calls the stack of bills a ‘ticket’, which apparently is slang for a million dollars.

I mean, maybe she knows how much her rents are worth and thought she could squeeze a few more quid out of them.
Offset then corrects her and says: “It’s a ticket? A ticket is a million, girl. That’s 50. Say 50.”
The couple celebrated her birthday at the Candytopia exhibit in Atlanta alongside her little brother, baby Wave, who is 10 months old.
And unsurprisingly, this isn’t the first time the platinum rapper has splashed the cash on her little girl.

Last year, for her third Birthday, Cardi bought her daughter a $48,000 (£34k) customised Hermès Birkin bag featuring a crystal rainbow.
The ‘WAP’ singer shared pictures of her and little Kulture on Instagram alongside the caption: “Me & my best friend for life.”
Michelle Berk, CEO of Privé Porter, said: “Cardi and Kulture were at Claire’s, of all places. Kulture saw a small bag with a rainbow and started begging for it. In typical Cardi way, she didn’t get that bag, but she called me instead to try to replicate that rainbow on a Birkin for Kulture.”

Taking to social media, fans have given their opinion on the little girl’s handbag. One asked: “If I had the money why not spoil them ain’t that’s what it’s for?”

Cardi B receives sentence for assault charge
The rapper turned herself in to police following the 2018 incident
Cardi B has been sentenced for her involvement in a fight which broke out in a strip club in August 2018.
It’s been a long time since the singer turned herself in to the New York City police following the brawl at Angels Strip Club in Queens, when she was accused of having thrown a chair and a number of other objects at other people in the club.
She was charged with reckless endangerment and assault, among other charges, but it wasn’t until Thursday (15 September) that she pleaded guilty as part of a plea deal.

Cardi was originally set to go to trial, but the plea deal allowed her to avoid the ordeal and instead meant that she would be charged with third-degree assault and second-degree reckless endangerment while 10 other charges were dismissed.
The fight is said to have broken out when Cardi encountered a woman at the club who she claimed was having an affair with her husband, Offset. The woman was bartending at Angels with her sister, and the rapper targeted them with champagne bottles, among other items.
A representative of the two women, Joe Tacopina, previously told NBC New York Cardi believed ‘her celebrity status puts her above the law, since she has bragged to multiple people and on social media that she orchestrated these vicious attacks’.
However, following sentencing on Thursday, the Queens district attorney Melinda Katz commented: “No one is above the law.”

Cardi has been sentenced to 15 days of community service, meaning she avoids jail time, and has been ordered to stay away from the two women while also paying their court fees.
In a statement commenting on the events, Cardi said: “Part of growing up and maturing is being accountable for your actions. As a mother, it’s a practice that I am trying to instil in my children, but the example starts with me. I’ve made some bad decisions in my past that I am not afraid to face and own up to.
“These moments don’t define me and they are not reflective of who I am now. I’m looking forward to moving past this situation with my family and friends and getting back to the things I love the most – the music and my fans.”
Cardi has until January 2023 to complete her community service, with the threat of jail time if she fails to adhere to the orders.

Cardi B took to Twitter to rage about grocery prices and inflation, having noticed a jump in the cost of lettuce
Cardi B has slammed inflation in a furious online rant, saying her grocery prices have tripled.
Of course, many people across the world are really feeling the pinch at the moment – whether it’s down to a pricey Christmas period, the cost of living crisis or not being paid enough.
But it turns out this includes Cardi B, who took to Twitter to fume about the prices of grocery staples like lettuce, having noticed it jumped from ‘like $2’ in price just a couple of months ago to ‘f***king $7’.
She began by tweeting: “Naaaaaa grocery shopping prices are ridiculous right now. You might as well eat outside!!”
Cardi then added: “B***h why lettuce cost 6 dollars where I live at?”
But other social media users lashed out at the rapper, suggesting her wealth meant she was in a much better position than others – especially as she recently got paid $1 million for performing a 35 minute set.
One commented: “Girl you rich as hell cut the nonsense you not one of us no more.”
Naturally, Cardi – whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus – wasn’t just going to let the hate slide in without speaking her mind further.
In a follow-up video, she explained that she’d realised how, if she was baulking at prices, she ‘can only imagine’ what those in lower class households are feeling.
“Let me tell you something, when I be complaining about food and all y’all mother f**kers be like, ‘Ain’t you rich why you complaining about lettuce? Why you complaining about this?’
“That just goes to show me when you become successful – when you have money – you’re going to f***** go broke soon because y’all not budgeting.

“I get a summary of the money that is being spent in my home every week, so when I’m starting to see that like groceries is like tripling up, it’s like, ‘Ay yo, what the f**k is going on?’
“I want to see for myself what the f**k s**t is being spent on.”
Cardi also urged those in power to do something about it, having found she couldn’t stay silent about the matter.
She continued: “And when I go to the f**king supermarket… I’m seeing that everything tripled up – that like lettuce was like $2 a couple of months ago and now it’s like f**king $7,” she said.
“And I have a big platform, so I do want anybody that is responsible for these f****** prices to put that s*** the f*** down.”
Cardi added: “Of course I’m going to say something. The f****. Because if I think that s**t is crazy, I can only imagine what middle class people or people in the hood is motherf**king thinking, so yes I’m going to say something.”
A number of Twitter users came out to defend the star, agreeing that she was attempting to raise awareness of an issue that affects so many.
One said: “The fact she’s not broke at all and still concerned about the rapidly increasing price of food should make you appreciate her post even more. The empathy for those less fortunate financially is absolutely implied.”
