Joe Rogan weirded out as guest guesses ATM PIN code not even his wife knows

Rogan couldn’t believe the end result

A Joe Rogan podcast guest has gone viral after guessing a private piece of information not even his wife knew.

When it comes to secrets in relationships, it’s best to keep them few and far between.

Sure, our partners might not know every little detail about us – like our card PINs or banking info.

But when Joe Rogan was joined by mentalist Oz Pearlman for the latest episode of his podcast, the magician somehow figured out exactly that.

The jaw-dropping moment, shared by Collin Rugg on X, formerly Twitter, has since been viewed 6.8 million times.

After discussing how Joe had been married to wife Jessica Ditzel for 16 years, Pearlman asks Rogan to think of an important number for him to guess – moreover, one that the guest couldn’t possibly know.

They talk about social security numbers before settling on Rogan’s ATM PIN.

Pearlman asks Rogan to think up a random four-digit number, unrelated to his actual code, and he offers up 2020.

From there, Pearlman begins his psychological wizardry.

Using Rogan’s fake number – and what we can only assume is subtle language cues and micro-reactions – he zeroes in on clues.

Pearlman says most men have the instinct to ‘go higher’ and correctly guesses that the first digit of the real PIN is one, since it must be lower than the first number of his fake PIN, which is a two.

Other clues include Rogan using repetition in his made-up number of 2020, making Pearlman think there’s repetition in his actual PIN code too.

He also correctly guesses that the numbers two and zero weren’t in Rogan’s actual code since he used them in the guess.

As the trick unfolds, Rogan becomes increasingly uneasy.

Now confident in his guess, Pearlman writes the full PIN number out on a note pad, so as not to expose it to Rogan’s millions of listeners.

Confirming that that was, indeed, his PIN number, Rogan’s face is painted with pure disbelief.

“That’s weird…” he says, taking a moment to process, before half-joking: “I’m skeptical because I got that PIN code in the mail…”

People had mixed reactions to the clip, with many questioning Pearlman’s methods.

“I always wonder why these mentalist aren’t filthy rich from winning the lottery all the time, betting on sports, or cleaning up in Vegas,” one social media user pondered.

“That’s wild, but there’s usually a method behind these ‘mind reading’ tricks, often combining cold reading, subtle physical cues, and psychology,” a second reasoned. “Still impressive execution though, made Joe squirm.”

“Guarantee he would not guess mine,” another confident listener added.

The discussion continued over on Reddit, where one fan commented: “One of the coolest episodes in a very long time.”

“This is one of the best episodes in this pod’s history,” a second agreed. “Incredible mind f**ks.”

A third resolved: “I think this guy was exactly what this audience needed.”

Joe Rogan fans say he’s ‘broken a promise’ after major change to JRE podcast

People have taken to Reddit to vent their frustration

Joe Rogan has angered fans with a major change to his podcast he’d previously criticized others for.

The UFC commentator’s Joe Rogan Experience was the most-listened to Spotify podcast of 2024, racking up 14.5 million followers across more than 2,200 episodes in total.

Having launched in 2009, the show was snapped up by Spotify in licensing deal reportedly worth $200 million in 2020.

Some pretty major names have graced the podcast over the years, including boxing champion Mike Tyson, President-elect Donald Trump and technology magnate Elon Musk,

Thanks to Rogan, we got to witness the world’s richest man smoke weed – remember that!? – while chatting all things artificial intelligencespace exploration and electric vehicles.

Joe Rogan Experience’s hours-long format and casual conversation – allowing room to explore different topics in intrinsic detail – is exactly what makes it so popular.

In fact, the Joe Rogan Experience is so influential, some reckon he helped ensure Trump’s re-election back in November after he was invited to appear on the show and endorsed by Rogan.

But recent episodes have caused quite the stir, with fans taking to social media to complain.

People have noticed new episodes are now interrupted by adverts, promoting companies such as ARMA Colostrum, Bon Charge, Goal Zero, and Hexclad.

These pesky ads are unskippable, even for Spotify Premium subscribers who pay up to $19.99 a month for ‘ad-free music listening’.

In earlier episodes of the Joe Rogan Experience, the host called out others who used mid-roll ads, insisting he’d never do the same as it disrupts the flow of conversation.

But avid listeners who’ve noticed the ads have been quick to point out Rogan’s hypocrisy.

Fans took to Reddit vent their frustration, as one person reasoned: “I get still having ads, but making them skippable was at least meeting paying subscribers halfway.

“Now it’s mid ep not skippable in the previous way. Pretty f****d, why pay for Spotify?”

Another commenter added: “Remember when Joe SPECIFICALLY said he would never put ads in the middle of the conversation because they interrupt the flow of the podcast and ruin the listening experience?

“I remember.”

Another listener echoed similar sentiments, typing: “I remember when Joe would constantly talk about how stupid it was for other podcasters to do this as it interrupts the flow of the conversation for the listener…”

Joe Rogan savagely calls out Katy Perry’s all-female space trip and mentions what everyone’s thinking

Rogan and guest Tim Dillon took major aim at the Blue Origin space trip

Lucy Devine

Joe Rogan and Tim Dillon have savagely criticised Katy Perry for her Blue Origin space trip.

Earlier this month, the all-woman crew took off in west Texas before returning to Earth 11 minutes later.

Alongside Perry, five other high-profile women were present, including aerospace engineer Aisha Bowe, film producer Kerianne Flynn, activist Amanda Nguyễn, TV personality Gayle King, and journalist and Jeff Bezos‘ fiancée Lauren Sánchez.

Despite how brief it was, the expedition marked the first all-female space crew since 1963.

However, the voyage has been heavily criticised ever since it took off, with many taking issue with the purpose of the flight.

And in the most recent episode of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan certainly didn’t hold back.

Speaking to Dillon, he said: “I don’t know if you’ve seen Katy Perry talk about it, but she’s basically a guru now.

“Let’s not minimize this. Let’s celebrate female astronauts. A lot of male astronauts, they have to go to school, they have to learn how to be a pilot first, they have to join the air force or the navy and then they get appointed by NASA and then they go to space.”

Dillon added: “There has been female astronauts…”

To which Rogan added sarcastically: “Let’s not minimize this.

“They’re profoundly different now.”

The pair then watched a video of the women talking about the trip after they had safely landed back on Earth, and could be seen laughing at their comments.

Referencing one made by Sanchez, Dillon said: “It’s funny to hear the richest guy in the world’s wife say ‘we’re all in this together’, I don’t know if people feel that [sic].”

Dillon then spoke about the widespread rumours that it was faked, adding: “I hope they fake something better than that.”

UNILAD has reached out to Perry’s rep for comment.

There were a lot of theories spun about the journey, with some people believing that they had proof that the whole thing was fake.

On X, people posted images of other capsules that had been to space and the damaged caused by re-entering Earth’s atmosphere compared to Perry’s pristine capsule.

Then, a moment caught on film showed a person opening the hatch of the door from the inside after it landed, before closing it. Bezos then used a bar to open it from the outside.

This led to many people calling the whole thing a sham.

But there was also an issue with people calling Perry an ‘astronaut’ due to her lack of training.

One of the people who believe she should not use the term is the Secretary of the US Department of Transportation, Sean Duffy.

He shared some thoughts on X, mentioning that the crew are not experienced enough to be able to fly into space.

He wrote: “The last FAA guidelines under the Commercial Space Astronaut Wings Program were clear: Crewmembers who travel into space must have ‘demonstrated activities during flight that were essential to public safety, or contributed to human space flight safety’.

“The crew who flew to space this week on an automated flight by Blue Origin were brave and glam, but you cannot identify as an astronaut. They do not meet the FAA astronaut criteria.”

Former CIA agent tells Joe Rogan what we could find as Donald Trump closes in on releasing JFK assassination files

President Donald Trump has pledged to release never-before-seen government files on the assassination of John F. Kennedy

Sam Sheard

A former CIA agent has revealed what we could expect after the contents of never-before-seen documents relating to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy are set to be released by President Donald Trump.

Re-elected to the White House last year, Trump is now expected to follow through on his pledge to declassify documents relating to the murder of JFK; one of the most consequential events in 20th century American history.

JFK’s assassination on the 22 November, 1963 was carried out by Lee Harvey Oswald, a former US Marine-turned-Soviet defector, who was killed two days later by Dallas nightclub owner Jack Ruby while in police custody.

But to this day, many speculate that the story doesn’t end there, with conspiracy theorists enamored with his Soviet links and the alleged role of US government agencies ever since.

Among these speculators is former Central Intelligence Agency officer Mike Baker, who spoke openly on the case in an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience.

It comes as Trump signed an executive order to release the files relating to JFK.

In conversation with Rogan, Baker theorises that ‘one of the reasons why some of these things were withheld is because it’s embarrassing to the CIA and FBI’.

Questions surrounding the actions of the CIA prior to Kennedy’s assassination remain at the forefront of public speculation. Oswald was already on the CIA’s radar due to his defection to the USSR and attempts to join the 1960’s Communist movement through the Cuban and Soviet embassies in Mexico.

Having moved to the USSR with the ambition of staying, Oswald went to the US embassy in Moscow on 31 October, 1959 to renounce his prior US citizenship.

His discussion with US interviewing officer Richard Edward Snyder included threats of disclosing information about the Marine corps to Soviet officials, prompting his military reserve discharge to be changed to ‘undesirable’ and alarming Americans as the press reported the tale of a respected Marine who fled to the Soviet Union.

However, having never formally renounced his US citizenship, Oswald applied for documentation that allowed his wife to migrate to the US in order to give birth, paving the way for their return to the States in June 1961.

Baker draws on Oswald’s history to forecast that ‘we may find that the CIA was not proactive enough, and didn’t work well enough with the FBI’.

Despite the abundance of theories and unanswered questions since that fateful afternoon in Dallas, Baker anticipates that ‘there is no smoking gun’ to be found in these documents. He claims that their imminent release is unlikely to ‘stop people from believing what they believe’ or ‘put anything to rest’.

Trump’s decision to release the documents stems from a promise made to newly-appointed US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr (known as RFK Jr), hoping to reveal new information about the assassinations of both his uncle, JFK, and father, Bobby Kennedy.

Baker appears adamant the documents are likely to be inconclusive, but also questions whether ‘history changes’ if the CIA had kept a closer eye on him.

Regardless of what emerges following the declassification of the documents, JFK’s assassination remains one of the most pertinent questions of political intrigue in modern history.

Trump sat down with Rogan ahead of the 2024 US election vote

Donald Trump promised to release two major US secrets if he became president for a second time.

Back in November, he stormed the election against Democratic party leader Kamala Harris, winning 312 electoral votes against Harris’ 226.

Ahead of the vote though, he sat down with podcaster and MMA star Joe Rogan for a three-hour-long, unscripted chat on the Joe Rogan Experience.

Now, Donald Trump has vowed to make a lot of bold changes to the country once he’s inaugurated – from making the US the ‘crypto capital of the planet’ to freeing some of the January 6 rioters.

However, on the Joe Rogan Experience, he said he would finally reveal ‘secret’ government files about two topics the public is incredibly interested in.

Speaking to Rogan back in November, Trump claimed he would unbox classified government papers on the assassination of John F. Kennedy back in 1963.

One of the biggest events in modern history, JFK was gunned down in broad daylight as he rode through Dallas, Texas, becoming the subject of numerous conspiracy theories over the years.

Trump told Rogan: “I did partially open. I think I’ve opened 50 percent but I was asked not to do it, and I thought that was a reasonable ask. But now I’m going to do it I’m going to do it very soon there’s a lot of interest in it.”

Trump said that due to the case documents involving people who are still alive, ‘you tend not to do it’ when it comes to releasing classified documents.

It follows up on a promise he made to presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr, known as RFK Jr – the nephew of JFK.

RFK Jr’s father was Senator Bobby Kennedy, who himself was also assassinated in 1968 while running for the presidency, earlier in the election campaign.

With RFK Jr suspending his campaign and supporting Trump, the president-elect publicly promised to release thousands of documents linked to his uncle’s murder.

Trump also touched on the subject of extraterrestrial life and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), suggesting he’d release more information on the matter.

The president-elect said: “There’s a lot of interest in the people coming from space. And I know you’re interested in that. It’s never been my thing. I have to be honest. I never have been a believer.”

But he confirmed he had spoken to many pilots that have made him question things, saying: “I interviewed jet pilots that were solid people, perfect – great pilots, great everything.

“And they said, ‘We saw things, sir, that were very strange. Like, a round ball but it wasn’t a comet or a meteor’.

“‘It was something and it was going four times faster than an F222’, which is a very fast plane, you know. And it was round, which isn’t, in theory, a great shape.”

With Trump taking office later today, let’s see if he’s true to his word on this one…

Everything else Trump has pledged to do as 47th US President

Delaying the TikTok ban

After TikTok went dark yesterday (January 19), it was bought back after mere hours with a message reading: “Welcome back! Thank you for your patience and support. As a result of President Trump’s efforts, TikTok is back in the US!”

Trump will reportedly sign an executive order to delay the ban saying he wants to ‘make a deal to protect our national security.’

Immigration

In a statement during a rally at Madison Square Garden during his presidential race he said: “On Day 1, I will launch the largest deportation program in American history to get the criminals out.

“I will rescue every city and town that has been invaded and conquered, and we will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail, then kick them the hell out of our country as fast as possible.”

Planning over 100 executive orders

It’s been reported by AP that Trump plans on preparing over 100 executive orders on his first day in the White House. Trump’s allies have reportedly spent time preparing documents that Trump can sign quickly, on issues such as deportation, school gender policies and vaccine mandates, without input from congress.

“There will be a substantial number,” said Senator John Hoeven, R-N.D.

‘Make Greenland Great Again Act’

In a bid that has not gone down well with Greenlanders, taking to his social media platform Truth Social Trump said: “For purposes of National Security and Freedom throughout the World, the United States of America feels that the ownership and control of Greenland is an absolute necessity.

“Greenland is an incredible place. The people will benefit tremendously if, and when, it becomes part of our Nation. We will protect it, cherish it, from a very vicious outside World. MAKE GREENLAND GREAT AGAIN!”

Getting rid of birthright citizenship

Exactly as it sounds, Trump once declared he wanted to get rid of birthright citizenship, which immediately gives citizenship to anyone born in US. Noting that this may not be possible as it’s written into the constitution, he said he wants to achieve this by executive order – bypassing congress again – ‘if we can’.

Cut federal funding for schools educating on ‘inappropriate’ topics

Speaking early last year, Trump addressed a crowd in Iowa and made plans to ‘save [the] country from destruction’.

“On day one, I will sign a new executive order to cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity,” he said, per NPR.

Trump also said he would target schools pushing ‘any other inappropriate racial, sexual or political content on our children’.

Be a ‘dictator’

In an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity last year, he referred to himself as a ‘dictator’ when asked if he was promising to ‘never abuse power as retribution against anybody’.

In response, Trump said: “Except for Day 1. I want to close the border and I want to drill, drill, drill. We’re closing the border and we’re drilling, drilling, drilling,” he continued. “After that, I’m not a dictator.”

End Green Deals

Trump has spoken previously about his plan to ‘terminate the Green New Deal’, which he dubbed the ‘Green New Scam’.

The Green New Deal was pitched by Democrats Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey, but it was never signed into law.

Addressing the policies in a speech in September, Trump said: “To further defeat inflation, my plan will terminate the Green New Deal, which I call the Green New Scam. Greatest scam in history, probably.

“We [will] rescind all unspent funds under the misnamed Inflation Reduction Act.”

“I’m going to write it out in an executive order. It’s going to end on Day 1.”

Arrange green cards for college graduates

Despite making his stance on migration clear, Trump has advocated for non-US citizens to receive green cards to stay in the country if they graduate from college.

During an episode of the ‘All In’ podcast recorded this year, Trump said: “Anybody graduates from a college, you go in there for two years or four years, if you graduate, or you get a doctorate degree from a college, you should be able to stay in this country […]

“Somebody graduates at the top of the class, they can’t even make a deal with the company because they don’t think they’re going to be able to stay in the country. That is going to end on Day 1.”

Scrap ‘electric vehicle mandates’

Trump plans to scrap Biden administration’s so-called electric vehicle mandate, referring to new pollution standards that incentivize auto manufacturers to increase production of electric and lower-emission vehicles.

Despite vowing to get rid of the policy on his first day, Trump told podcaster Joe Rogan the move could take ‘maybe two days, because it’s a little bit busy’.

Fire the man who indicted him

Trump faced two federal cases in relation to the 2020 election result from special counsel Jack Smith, and the future POTUS has no plans to work with him again.

Speaking on October 24, Trump told the Hugh Hewitt show he would fire Smith ‘within two seconds’.

“He’ll be one of the first things addressed,” he said.
