As the conflict between Israel and Iran continues to intensify people are fearful the US could be about to become more involved – and a lunch members of the army have been served has caused speculation over WW3 to ramp up.
In just a few days, tensions between Israel and Iran have escalated to new heights with both nations trading missile strikes.
US President Donald Trump has also been taking to social media to issue warnings to Iran and demand it agrees to the US’ demands or face further bloodshed.
This rhetoric already had people fearful we are on the verge of World War 3 erupting, as the middle east sees even more conflict.
However, one short video that is doing the rounds on social media has got people even more worried that the US army is gearing up for war.

TikTok user melly.fits shared a video on the platform showing him and a group of people eating in military barracks.
This is all normal enough, but people have speculated the meal they are being served is a dead giveaway the conflict is about the intensify.
The video showed the soldiers being served steak and lobster, with plenty of fizzy drinks also available.
Many users questioned whether this was a ‘deployment meal’, a more extravagant spread served to army personnel before they are sent out on missions or into a conflict.
One user commented: “The “yeah, we are pretty sure you’re all about to die, have fun” meal.”
Another said: “Boost morale by serving what possibly could be their last meal.”
A third added: “The military will do a nice big meal right before deploying to an active combat zone. If you watch generation kill, the marine corps buys a s*** ton of pizza hut for the corpsman. Through this, they y realize they are about to invade Iraq before they get the official orders.”
With another writing: “A fancy meal is a sign for deployment. This association of fancy/good food and imminent combat comes from WW1 trench warfare. There soldiers were given good meals before an assault or push.”
However other people also pointed out this likely isn’t the true reason the soldiers were served lobster and steak, and that there was another explanation altogether.

As well as ahead of deployment, some former military personal pointed out on the post that similar meals are served for celebrations and special occasions.
And of course, the army recently celebrated its 250th birthday, with a parade – which also marked Trump’s 79th birthday – taking place over the weekend.
Other videos on TikTok have showcased that same meal but to mark this celebration.
So, while tensions may be raised in the middle east, the videos showing the lovely meal might not be as ominous of a warning as people think it is.

US embassy in Israel attacked by Iran amid Trump’s warning to unleash hell if America was threatened
The situation could continue to escalate following another strike on Israel
Donald Trump has previously warned Iran of further escalation as the situation between the country and Israel begins to spiral, and now, the American embassy has been hit.
Israel’s surprise bombardment of Iran’s nuclear and military facilities last week (June 13) has resulted in the nation firing back at the country.
This has meant both Israel and Iran have been trading strikes, ultimately increasing tensions and fears of instability in the region.
Donald Trump has expressed full support of Israel’s actions and warned Iran to avoid further loss of life and agree to a deal.
The President has been calling on the country to sign a nuclear deal with the group of world powers known as the P5+1 – which includes the US, UK, Germany, France, China, and Russia, who’ve all been in negotiation with Iran in regards to its nuclear program since 2006.

Writing on Truth Social, Trump said: “I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to ‘just do it,’ but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done.”
Iran recently conducted more strikes on Israel in the early hours of Monday (June 16), and this resulted in damage to the US embassy in the country.
The US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, said the embassy had suffered ‘minor damage’ amid the barrage of missiles on Monday.
Writing on Twitter, he said: “Some minor damage from concussions of Iranian missile hits near Embassy Branch… but no injuries to US personnel.”
He added that the embassy would remain closed on Monday and instructed the Americans that are in Israel to check the website for updates, including the reopening of airports and overall travel advice.
The US aircraft carrier USS Nimitz is now reportedly heading towards the Middle East as Trump warned of further destruction if the issue between the two nations is not swiftly resolved.
Explaining that the US was not explicitly involved in Israel’s initial attack, Trump clarified they would not take kindly to retaliation by Iran.

In a social media post he wrote: “The U.S. had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight,” said Trump. “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before.
“However, we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!!!”
The details regarding how devastation the strikes has not yet been fully realized.
On June 14, Iran’s UN ambassador said 78 people had been killed and more than 320 wounded. In Israel, at least 10 people were killed in Iranian strikes overnight and into Sunday.
Figures for casualties in both countries are expected to rise as more information becomes available about the latest strikes.

Trump sends terrifying warning after leaving G7 early for ‘much bigger’ issue amid Israel-Iran attacks
Donald Trump’s comments are rather concerning considering the tensions in the region
Donald Trump issued a concerning warning on social media after leaving the G7 meeting early for an undisclosed issue.
In just a few days, tensions between Israel and Iran have reached new heights, as both nations have been trading missiles. Israel’s surprise bombardment of Iran’s nuclear and military facilities last week seemed to set things off, with the nation retaliating with strikes on Tel Aviv.
This would have likely been a hot topic discussed amongst leaders for this year’s G7 meeting, held in Canada.
More concerningly, Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Monday (June 16) to comment that Iran needed to sign a new nuclear agreement deal.
The President has been calling on the country to sign a nuclear deal with the group of world powers known as the P5+1 – which includes the US, UK, Germany, France, China, and Russia, who’ve all been in negotiation with Iran in regards to its nuclear program since 2006.

In his latest post on the matter, Trump warned Iran: “Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”
Trump also left the G7 meeting a day early and is set to return to DC, and French President Emmanuel Macron said that he had done so to help foster a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
However, Trump took issue with this comment and again turned to social media to dispute this, saying he was dealing with a ‘bigger issue’ than a cease fire.

A few hours after his initial warning message, he commented: “Publicity seeking President Emmanuel Macron, of France, mistakenly said that I left the G7 Summit, in Canada, to go back to D.C. to work on a ‘cease fire’ between Israel and Iran.
“Wrong! He has no idea why I am now on my way to Washington, but it certainly has nothing to do with a Cease Fire. Much bigger than that. Whether purposely or not, Emmanuel always gets it wrong. Stay Tuned!”
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt explained on Twitter that despite leaving early, Trump had achieved much during the G7 summit.
She wrote: “Much was accomplished, but because of what’s going on in the Middle East, President Trump will be leaving tonight after dinner with Heads of State.”

Donald Trump has been causing a stir over his latest comments on Iran
Donald Trump’s latest posts on Truth Social over Iran have sparked fury as the situation deteriorates in the region.
Donald Trump’s social media activity has seen him face quite a lot of backlash, as people have accused him of ‘war-mongering’ given he issues threats to Iran.
Israel has been conducting strikes in Tehran since June 13, which so far has gone on without US involvement. In retaliation, Iran has fired back its own missiles, with some even getting through the country’s Iron Dome defenses in Tel Aviv.
Trump has repeatedly spoken on his social media platform Truth Social about Iran, which he says must come to make a new nuclear deal now, or face more strikes and further death.

And now, Trump’s latest post on Tuesday (June 17) evening on the developing conflict has sparked both outrage and concern.
He wrote: “We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran. Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American made, conceived, and manufactured ‘stuff.’ Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA.”
In a follow up post, he added: “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
In another he simply added: “Unconditional surrender.”
However, on Twitter, these comments likely haven’t had the positive support Trump was hoping for.

One user said: “Why don’t you bring our military home and fix America like you promised. So disappointed I voted for you.”
Another added: “You guys are f****** clowns!!! Stop the war-mongering bs!!”
A third added: “The President is impairing the dignity of his presidency as well as the national honor by this kind of rhetoric, in my view.”
With another commenting: “We voted for peace, we got a warlord, Thanks Trump.”
And fifth person simply writing: “Our so-called President is out of his mind.”

The POTUS left the G7 summit a day early for what he said was ‘big stuff’
Donald Trump has been slammed for issuing a ‘psychopathic’ statement on why he left the G7 summit in Canada a day early.
The Group of Seven, a bloc made up of leaders from the US, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the UK, have met up every year for the past five decades to discuss global economic governance and international security.
It’s a pretty big deal – so when the US president skipped out on the summit in Canada a day early on Monday (June 16), it made international headlines.
The White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed Trump would be making his way back home after an official dinner with G7 leaders on Monday night but didn’t reveal why.
“Much was accomplished, but because of what’s going on in the Middle East, President Trump will be leaving tonight after dinner with Heads of State,” she announced on Twitter.

The POTUS said he informed the summit host, Canada’s prime minister Mark Carney, of his early departure and that the group would understand.
“I have to be back as soon as I can,” he said. “I wish I could stay until tomorrow, but they understand, this is big stuff,” reports The Guardian.
His retreat meant he declined to participate in a joint G7 statement where leaders of the nations called for a ‘de-escalation of hostilities in the Middle East, including a ceasefire in Gaza.’
While the statement stopped short at calling for a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, Trump signed off on the statement and urged residents in Iran’s capital, Tehran, to evacuate in a social media post before his departure.
Israel has been conducting strikes in Tehran since Thursday night, which so far has gone on without US involvement.
Now, the president is being accused of making a ‘psychopathic’ statement on Truth Social about his premature exit where he criticised the French president.

Dozens have since blasted the president’s premature exit from the G7 meeting and his post about Macron as ‘pathetic’ and ‘petty.’
“Insulting our allies again, after whining they won’t let Putin back into the G8,” said one, in reference to the fact the then G8 group booted the Russian president out in 2014 which Trump has said was a mistake.
A second added: “I thought Macron was being very generous in saying Trump was returning to try and broker a ceasefire. It made the [orange emoji] sound presidential. But he probably just wanted to play golf.”
Others questioned what could possibly have been more important to justify leaving the table if not for a ceasefire or peace deal.

His bizarre rant comes as Trump had told reporters before leaving Canada that Iran ‘want to make a deal, and as soon as I leave here, we’re going to be doing something. But I have to leave here.’
It now appears whatever mystery deal the POTUS was proposing has fallen through as in a subsequent post, Trump wrote: “Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life.
“Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”
